This cottage is perfect for a short stay get away and base to explore North Cornwall

Pros: The cottage was very quant and in a great location. The cottage accepted dogs when we went and there is a walking footpath down to Port Gaverne that starts from the cottage that was great for walking the dog. The bed was super comfy and linen etc was all first class. The St Kew Inn is a short drive and is a really lovely pub for drinks and the food is amazing.

Cons: The stairs up to the bedrooms are a bit sketchy, but no issues for us. The lighting in the kitchen is a bit dim and could be a bit brighter.

Cosy cottage, perfect base for exploring

Pros: The Cottage was very cosy & plenty big enough for 3 adults, a toddler & a golden retriever. My dog wasn't happy being left downstairs so I slept in the sofa bed which was absolutely fine. Absolutely no complaints about the facilities, everything we needed was there. The shower was lovely & hot everyday. The cottage is in the perfect location for exploring Cornwall, only a short drive to Port Isaac & a convenient co-op for essential supplies & also a lovely walk across fields very close by. Would recommend a stay here for sure.

Cons: Some instructions on how to work the oven would be useful The lighting wasn't great & perhaps could be a little brighter. And just a general suggestion to perhaps have some pictures hanging in the lounge.

Great location and everything we needed!

Pros: Location was brilliant, we literally see everywhere. Everything in the cottage we needed, helped make it the perfect Base camp. Beds good, kitchen well kitted out and having WiFi was brilliant. Polzeath beach nearby was excellent! Great time and lovely cottage and very helpful owners.

Cons: Settees were uncomfortable, but ok. We know they are being replaced and new kitchen incoming soon. The pub next door was interesting.

Lovely cozy cottage

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage with pub next door. Beds were very comfortable kitchen well stocked and goody bag with chocolate provided on arrival as well as washing up liquid washing liquid tea, coffee and milk and cleaning products stocked in the cupboard. Large screen television with Netflix and good speed WiFi.

Cons: Very little outside space, plumbing was a little noisy, not great for the taller person as a period property with low ceiling and low hanging lights to bump your head.

Love the view at st kew

Pros: I loved the cottage , it was like comming home . The only negative really was the stairs if you have any mobility isues the stairs is quite tricky . Their is no toilet upstairs but their is a sofa bed downstairs so you can sleep down their if you wish. The beds upstairs are so comfy and you dont hear a sou d at night. The pub next door is brilliant the locals are so welcoming its almost like they have known you all your life . My husband and i had a great stay we really loved cornwall and the people their are just great . Thank you so much for a lovely holiday , it was just to short .

Cons: The only thing i didnt like was the stairs and having to come down to use the toilet .

Pros: A very cosy & warm cottage. Surpassed our expectations. Appreciated having a large TV, log burner & two sofas. Kitchen is well equipped with good quality crockery. Appreciated having washing up liquid, dish cloth & tea towel provided. Great power shower in bathroom. Beds very comfortable & lovely bedding. Dan was a very helpful host answering my many questions & providing us with some useful information. Friendly pub next door where we celebrated the New Year. Thank you for a memorable New Year's Break.

Cons: Nothing! However a coffee table would be useful in the lounge.

Character cottage, well situated and perfect for a short ‘get away’ break.

Pros: Exactly as advertised - small and quaint! Well positioned to explore N Cornish coast and pub 2 doors down was a real bonus.

Cons: Nothing - some of the other feedback seems a little harsh to me.

A great simple place to stay, next to a fun pub!

Pros: Compact, easy functional. We had a bit of a nightmare because of Storm Darragh. No electricity for two days!

Cons: It was great, just one bit of advice put some soft material in the bathroom over the door. I am 6ft 2” in the dark ( no electricity) I hit my head twice. A torch would be good!
