A comfortable base from which to explore Cornwall

Pros: This is a characterful cottage. Clean and comfortable and close enough to Port Isaac and Padstow as well as other rainy day options nearer St Austel, such as The Lost Gardens of Heligan to make a great base. We also walked lots of bits of the coastal footpath from here - both from the front door...its only about a mile from the path over the fields from the village....and using the car. And, while the kitchen is well-equipped, there are also lots of local eatery options for those days when you'd rather not cook too! It was a shame we had to go home!

Cons: If you're tall and not used to older properties, just remember to duck your head as you wander the cottage...particularly going along the landing to the bathroom and navigating the step from the utility room into the kitchen!
