A great place to stay for visiting Cornwall.
Pros: Very comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. Loved the games room especially. Great shower with constant hot water. Very comfortable beds. Rear windows looked out onto the stream with a picnic table for our use. Host was attentive and friendly.
Cons: Could have had more cutlery and plates etc for preparing food and not just eating. Could hear the neighbours at times (tv mainly) through the walls.

Nice little holiday home - recommend!
Pros: Great location, good communication with the host, very clean and pretty well appointed. The kitchen area is small but well thought out and usable. Great free games room that the kids really enjoyed making full use of!
Cons: The fridge and ice box are very small - as a family of four we had to go food shopping almost every day as we couldn't store much more than a day's worth of food, which was frustrating when we were there for ten nights Also could do with a bottle opener - we had one ourselves but it would have been frustrating if we hadn't, and it seemed odd not to have one when there are so many other utensils! It is expensive for what it is, but it is Cornwall in August and everywhere is flipping expensive!

Pros: It is an awsome place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights. James is excellent host; very friendly and helpful. The cottage is spacious, it was neat and tidy, the kitchen is well equipped, it has everything you need to make your holiday enjoyable. It has a cozy games room which is a plus. Beds are extremely comfortable. It has ample Parking. Porthtowan / Portreath beach is lovely, just 5min drive. Great location to venture out to other areas of Cornwall in car. The accommodation has a lovely stream running along the back of it. There are table and benches to sit out in front and back of the cottage. Very peaceful location. We had a pleasant stay; Thank You. The place is highly recommended.

All too short a stay in this excellent location. We hope to return.
Pros: Spotlessly clean and superbly equipped accommodation with tranquil brook-side outdoor seating. Well furnished games room. Ideal location to explore this part of Cornwall and to access the coast-to-coast cycle trail. Friendly, knowledgeable hosts.
Cons: Late checkout didn't seem to have been communicated to hosts by Booking.com.

Quiet, peaceful spot for a great stay in Cornwall.
Pros: Clean, comfortable unit with a picnic table beside the stream. Helpful hosts. Very quiet location - we slept very well.
Cons: This is the only place we've stayed at in 3 months of traveling that did not provide towels. However they kindly provided them when we said we didn't have any with us. Would also be good to provide tea and coffee.

Peace and tranquility in Redruth
Pros: Plenty of information before our arrival on local eateries. Warm personal welcome from James. Excellent parking on site. Clean and tidy with a good range of cooking equipment. Park like surroundings and very quiet. A small brook ran outside our lounge doors with a BBQ table. It would have been wonderful in summer but sadly just too cold in spring. Convenience of having our personal washing done for us for a small fee. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay.
Cons: Lighting in all rooms was dim. Bedrooms a little cold at night
