Romantic hideaway

Pros: The cottage had a secluded private garden with a fun hot tub. It is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to the town centre and train station, but be prepared for the climb up the hill on your way back.

Cons: Our only complaint is we found the bed to be a little uncomfortable. It has a wooden frame that creaks too. However we would go back in a heartbeat. It's lovely

Disappointed as hot tub not working.

Pros: The accommodation was really nice and the owners were at hand if required. Everything that we needed was in the accommodation.

Cons: We booked this accommodation primarily for the hot tub but when we went to use it it was faulty and although the owners attempted to fix it they said they couldn't so we had no hot tub during our 3 night stay. We could have stayed in a lot cheaper accommodation without a hot tub (at least a £100.00 cheaper). When we asked for compensation all they chose to offer us was a £20 discount on our next stay which was a little insulting and we had to go through booking.com as the owners ignored our emails. We felt really disappointed that the owners chose to ignore our emails and then insult us with their pointless offer. I feel if you advertise something and you don't provide it you should at least offer a decent compensation if not a full refund. Like if I bought something faulty from a shop.

A beautiful, comfortable and unique property - a must visit!

Pros: Gorgeous, spacious, comfy and the host Rianne was super helpful. Honestly I couldn’t fault the place, would book again in a heartbeat!

Cons: I prefer a thicker duvet but that’s literally just personal preference, the property was warm and there were spare blankets if needed so the most minor thing

Great break

Pros: We went for a weekend getaway to relax and that's exactly what we got, it was the perfect stay for us would definitely book again
