Finest Retreats - Tinners Rest

Pros: This holiday home had everything! It was comfy, cozy and had an excellently equipped kitchen (not always a given). There was loads of space and the location was great to get out and about to the coast. The hosts were really friendly and answered messages quickly. Would highly recommend a stay at The Tinners Rest.

Pros: it was comfortable enough. good sized lounge and a bonus of conservatory.

Cons: the sink in the bathroom was small so the water got splashed out onto the floor and we were only given a loo roll for 3 of us for a few nights

Spacious home in quiet location but easy access to places of interest in Cornwall. Excellent value

Pros: Very comfortable house with plenty of space for a family. The extra space in the conservatory is a bonus, and would be lovely in warmer weather. Very friendly hosts, on hand for any issues. Quiet location but easy access to Mevagissey and St Austell and walks in the local area.

Cons: It was a little hard to find at first so a bigger sign would be useful.

Fantastic Home in Cornwall

Pros: Fantastic 9 nights in this lovely house for the two of us. Well located for travelling in Cornwall, single level, quiet street with parking off the road for one medium size car. Easy walk to Poolgarth Inn - large portions and great ambiance. Shower was great, heating good and lovely conservatory. Large kitchen, excellent wifi, large flat screen TV, comfortable bed. There were two single beds in a smaller bedroom but not used by us. Couldn’t fault it! Thank you to the hosts for making it available to us Aussies. Highly recommend.

Cons: We liked everything

Pros: Lovely flat . Yes you can hear life above you but not noisy and didn't bother my dog at all .Very quiet area at night . Beds comfy clean and lovely welcome tray with essentials . Needed a hoover and a mop as flat is dog friendly . Nice to be able to clear the decks after walking on beaches ect

Cons: Sat navs take you down a terrible narrow path .Perhaps a little map with best roads as once we found it there was a much easier main road you could take

You can’t ask for better

Pros: Great location to all attractions. Friendly owners and plenty of room. The conservatory and garden are a great bonus.

Cons: I liked everything as did my daughter.

Highly recommended comfortable holiday accommodation

Pros: The hosts were warm and friendly. After a long journey we appreciated the welcome tray and the updates by the hosts about entry. The property was very confortable, a new well equipped kitchen and a new bathroom. The conservatory was an added bonus used by all the family. Polgooth is everything you can wish for with a village shop and a lovely pub both within walking distance. I would recommend this property.

Pros: Quiet location was ideal, with village shop very well provisioned nearby. Local Polgooth Inn in walking distance serves excellent food including breakfasts.

Cons: Could be more easy chairs instead of large sofas.

Pros: Logement propre et confortable, propriétaire attentif, calme. Tout est fonctionnel, le wifi de bonne qualité. Franchement je ne regrette pas d'avoir réservé et passé mes vacances dans cette magnifique région. Je recommande vivement.

Mit Hund eine schöne Unterkunft, allerdings nur mit Auto.

Pros: Schönes Ferienhaus mit schönem Badezimmer und Schlafzimmern. Die Küche erscheint neu und groß und ist gut ausgestattet. Kaffee, Tee und Kekse als Begrüßung standen bereit. Wunderschöner Wintergarten am Wohnzimmer. Freundliche Vermieter die direkt nebenan wohnen und selber einen Hund besitzen. Der Dorfladen, der fußläufig zu erreichen ist, ist gut sortiert.

Cons: Der Backofen war leider sehr dreckig was die Bleche und das Rost betraf. Wir haben ihn dann nur zum Aufbacken von Brötchen benutzt unter Verwendung von Backpapier. Das Haus ist nicht leicht zu finden und liegt weit entfernt von St. Austell.
