Beautifully cosy cottage

Pros: We loved our stay here. The cottage is lovely and warm and equipped with everything needed. It was also very clean. Parking was an added bonus. We would highly recommend staying here - a delight!

Super comfortable welcoming stay. Nearby eateries.

Pros: The welcome. Well presented, roomy and really well fitted accommodation with seaside reclaimed theme throughout. Comfy furniture and quirky touches. Large kitchen with all appliances. Walking distance to Charlestown Harbour & lovely restaurants. Shared garden area.

Cons: Bathroom floor could be slippy? As wet room set up with over bath shower. Take some wet shoes if concerned.

A week relaxing and recharging

Pros: We loved the accommodation, Neptune's Rest, it was so homely with seaside touches that enhanced our visit to Charlestown and surrounding areas. Our hosts Sarita and Jason were so friendly and helpful with so much local knowledge. The swimming in Charlestown and nearby was brilliant and the restaurants are excellent. We simply had a fantastic time! We also arrived to all the ingredients for a cream tea which was a real treat :)

Cons: Nothing to say here, we liked everything!

Fantastic holiday base for exploring Cornwall.

Pros: Fabulous one bedroom property just a short walk from the harbour and eateries of Charlestown. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen incredibly clean and well appointed home from home. Hosts Sarita and Jase are fantastic; they shared their local knowledge with us sharing a local beach that was dog friendly as well as walks and things to see and do.

Cons: The shower / bath arrangement in the bathroom. Would be improved if the bath were removed and the shower simply a wet room arrangement. We found the bath very narrow and this complicated showering and the shower head is directly above the bath. No other issues for us.

We had a lovely stay here, and the couple of niggles mentioned did not distract from the fact that it was a beautiful ho

Pros: The property was clean and comfortable—a delightful little place tucked away behind the owner's house. It had all the facilities needed for a holiday and was in a very convenient location. The owners were lovely and, while we didn't need anything, I'm sure they would have been helpful if we had.

Cons: It’s not that we didn’t like it, but with the bed downstairs along with the sofa, chair, and TV, we felt the large room upstairs was wasted. It had a small sofa and chair, but there was no point in going up there to sit when it was more comfortable downstairs. If the bed had been upstairs and the sofa bed downstairs, it would have provided much more usable space. There was a large wardrobe downstairs, but one door couldn’t be opened because the bedside table was in the way, limiting the accessible space. As others have mentioned, the roll-top bath was quite awkward for showering. We were also not impressed with having to pay £30 for our little dog. The listing did state charges might apply, but we were only informed of the £30 fee after booking. This was for a small dog that makes no mess, so it’s unclear why it says \
