2-bedroom cottage in heart of St Ives w/ parking

Cosy gem

Pros: Great cosy cottage just by the beach with parking. A hidden gem! Rooms were great and home was very cosy and comfortable. Would stay again

Location Great.A little more care needed.

Pros: Its location is ideal for beach walks, with the dogs, the parking is so handy and safe. Shops and eateries so close!

Cons: There is little to dislike but, as I pointed out earlier, the kitchen waste was overflowing outside, the bathroom door has a noisy squeak, and no doorstops fitted so not very private. Also, the towel rail came away due to poor fitting in a hollow wall. What bothered me most was that one leg of the bed was breaking through the floor! This certainly needs fixing, before becoming a more serious problem.

Fabulous weekend in a perfect little bolthole.

Pros: Primarily we booked this property for its location and it didn’t disappoint. It was an easy 18 minute walk from the train station and a 3 minute walk from the harbour beach, Porthgwidden beach and Porthmeor beach mention within easy reach of the town. It is so central but so quiet, absolutely no noise overnight at all. It was very easy to find, and although we didn’t use it the parking space is a real bonus. The best and bedding clean and co for table, kitchen with everything you need and the hosts kindly supplied teabags, coffee and milk to get us started. There is a lovely cornershop nearby for essentials but as the hosts recommend do think about what shopping you need before you arrive.

Cons: Nothing not to like really. If I am going to be very picky the bathroom doesn’t have much head height, but this is a minor point. The hosts have squeezed everything they can put of the space available, and the shower is powerful and roomy.

Great stay, ideal location

Pros: Such a perfect location, so close to the beaches and the town- all walkable. Good price and perfect for friends. Would stay again, had a great time! Free beach things that came with the house which was a bonus :)

Cons: Mattresses were a little bit uncomfortable and cottage is small but didn’t bother us. Parking space was a bit tight but manageable

Fantastic, easy access to all the beaches, restaurants and shops. Most especially the St. Ives Bakery yummy bread!!

Pros: Very nice, cozy, cleanliness rating 5, a wonderful place to stay for the whole family. Highly recommend will book again. With free biscuits, tea, lots of toilet paper and clean towels. Amazing feedback reminiscing the experience or guest book!! I love it;)

Cons: Very minimal changes needed washing machine instead of dishwasher. The double deck bed needs new mattress. New set of half boarding, books, game boards and book bind the rules and how to dos.

Pros: The location was perfect. Two beaches within a 4 minute walk as was the harbour with all its shops, bars & restaurants.

Great little cottage right in the heart of everything!

Pros: We thought the cottage was lovely. It was a nice touch leaving welcome tea biscuits and fudge.

Cons: The bottom bunk mattress was really rather uncomfortable, I could feel the springs and I really think it needs replacing.

Perfect location

Pros: You couldn’t have a better location - a quick walk to all the beaches and town! Very sizeable and well equipped kitchen, and comfortable lounge to relax in. As mentioned in a few other reviews, the property is a bit tired, but the owners seem to be very proactive on making changes suggested!

Cons: The parking is quite tight - but manageable!
