I had a wonderful stay in Cornwall, visiting beautiful places like Newquay, St Ives, Land’s End, Hollywell Bay, Penzance

Pros: It’s full of charm and character, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located for exploring the town. The cottage is in an excellent position, close to St Ives but away from the busy town, if you like peace and tranquility. Returning here at the end of busy walking days was wonderful.

Cons: Some reviews mention that parking can be tricky when pulling out, but as a careful driver I found it no problem at all. If you park in front of the house facing towards Halsetown (not St Ives), it’s easy to get out, and there are plenty of turning areas on either side to make manoeuvring straightforward. We did not walk on the road as no pavement, so parked in the Rugby ground for £7 a day, easy and safe.

A wonderful stay in an idillic location. Close to all facilities but still very peaceful.

Pros: This is self catering accommodation and had every facility provided for a comfortable stay. The accommodation was very clean and the furniture, including the bed, was very comfortable.

Cons: The ground floor shower tray is quite sliery when wet and the provision of a non-slip bath may would make this safer to use.

Pros: Beautiful little character cottage a stones throw from town perfectly situated with rolling rural veiws

Cons: It's too popular so when I want to book it it's often already taken. I would happily live in this property.

A beautiful cottage, with fabulous scenery in all directions.

Pros: The cottage was really good, everything we needed was there. The cooking and kitchen equipment was of a high quality. The linen and towels also high quality. The secure garden is excellent, especially if you have a dog.

Cons: The property is situated on a back road to Penzance from St Ives, which gets very busy, even at weekends. The parking space is big. But you could only park facing towards Halstown if you wanted to get out safely. The tv was of a good make, albeit would only operate via its smart features. This ment we had to sign into all our terrestial channels to watch BBC, ITV etc. This was fine for us, but, a the less technically minded would fined this difficult or confusing to understand. Perhaps a crib sheet with all the terrestial log in addresses would be a good start. On arrival the only clock in the cottage was not working.

Great comfortable property

Pros: Lovely outlook front and back. Really comfortable beds Nice lounge kitchen and patio area sunny all day

Cons: Internet a bit of a let down no connection upstairs or very poor granite walls probably interfered. Downstairs good enough for zoom etc

A beautiful spot in a stunning part of the world.

Pros: It was clean, comfortable, felt very welcoming. The beds were super comfy and the whole place was light and airy. It’s entirely private and not overlooked. The garden is lovely.

Cons: If we had to nit pick, because really it’s a smashing holiday spot, it takes a little patience to drive in and out of the parking space as there are bends in the road which make it a little tricky to see what’s coming - but it’s not a big issue.

A memorable stay in St Ives.

Pros: Clean, beautiful, spacious, welcome bag plus milk in the fridge was nice to arrive to, very responsive staff when needed something. A wow when you walk in to the garden.

Cons: Lack of pavement to easily walk into St Ives and vehicles just thundered past. Felt like me and my family were putting our lives in our hands walking on the road when leaving the house. Even carried the dog a few times to ensure his safety. A kind local shared that we could cut through the field and road but still had a section that was dangerous. Definitely needs a reflection mirror as well for vehicles leaving.

Pros: Sehr gemütliches kleines Ferien-Cottage zum Wohlfühlen! Liebevoll eingerichtet mit vielen kleinen netten Details. Vielen Dank für das umfangreiche Wellcome-Paket. Schön, dass es einen kleinen Garten hat. Auch unsere Kinder waren begeistert, wir möchten unbedingt einmal wieder kommen…

Cons: Das Geschirr war teilweise leider nicht sauber, war aber mit der Geschirrspülmaschine schnell zu lösen. Schön wären noch ein paar mehr Handtuchhalter gewesen…
