Pros: We are travelling back to northants leaving this incredibly beautiful home behind us with a tinge of sadness. The owners made our stay in this perfect and unique holiday stay memorable. Not only is it a charming place, in the perfect location, they went the extra mile by making us feel welcome with complimentary treats and the many lights left on for our arrival, which looked cosey and welcoming. We will definitely return but be mindful of lack of parking spaces in st Ives. You cannot park outside of the house which is on an hill. Car parking spaces in designated places are highly sought after. We were aware of this before our trip because we love st Ives.

Pros: The Old Bookshop is a wonderful place to stay in St Ives. The location is perfect and the house was extremely cosy and beautifully furnished with incredible decor. It was like home away from home! The kitchen was fully equipped and the hosts also left some treats for us. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Pros: Well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed and extremely clean throughout.Quiet and cosy but just a short walk to the town and beaches. Parking within two minutes at The Stennack. Generous treats left by our hosts

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Old Bookshop very much.

Pros: The property is brilliantly located, few minutes walk from shops, bakery, great restaurants and the beach. Despite the fact that it is in the middle of the town, it was very quiet. The place had everything we needed plus the owners left us some groceries and a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. There is no parking, but we never had any problems with leaving our car at the Trenwith car park, which is 10 min walk from the place.

Cons: The place could do with some instructions about the property, for eg what to do with rubbish and recycling, how to use bbq, nearby car parks etc.
