The Lost Lobster

Pros: Very stylish, right in the middle of town, close to beaches and shops. Very well appointed kitchen. Lots of lovely touches, a lovely diffuser in the lounge and the bag of welcome goodies was amazing!

Cons: The only slight issues were that there was no microwave, the pillows were very firm and the sofa covers could do with a wash as they smelt greasy.

A Lost Lobster that is well worth finding

Pros: Great layout, cosy and lots of character. This place is so well kitted out. It has everything. Dishwasher, washing machine, iron, clothes airing frame, ironing board, buckets & spades, hairdryer, body boards, boardgames, and more. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom, while small, has a large shower. Plenty of hot water, perfect location, I could keep going, but I think you get the idea.

Cons: The property is on one of the narrowest roads in existence, and the parking space is so tight that if the occupants of the neighbouring apartment (No.1) have a car, you are blocked in and can only leave if they let you. The cars have to park with only inches between them. Also, the housekeeping was poor, with bits on the floor, hairs all over the 3 seater sofa, and there are a lot of fingerprints on the kitchen cupboards. It's not a showstopper though.

A great flat for two within easy walking distance of the centre of St Ives

Pros: The flat is located only a short walk from the centre of St Ives. Local shops are within a 5 minute walk so initial shop easily done on first morning.

Cons: Key safe is located in bin store adjacent to parking bays. When we arrived, a car was parked up against the bin store gate and we couldn't access it. Called the emergency number and our host was on site with spare set of keys within 15 mins

Perfect getaway

Pros: Location of property was excellent, so close to harbour, shops and beach. No steep hills to climb! Parking is tight if 3 cars are in the spaces but if all parties park correctly then this shouldn’t be an issue as very lucky to get a property in St Ives with parking that is so close to everything. The property was lovely, cosy and clean. Would most definitely stay here again.

Cons: The bed was a bit too soft but that is just preference. Could do with a microwave and a few more baking trays but other that nothing not to like.

Pros: The location, it was clean, cosy, beds were so comfortable

Cons: I think it was expensive and also the parking space was tiny which she weren’t aware of at the time of booking so we had to pay an extra £100 to park somewhere else for the week
