Cosy Beachfront Retreat with Stunning Sea Views & Free Access to a Local Indoor Pool

Pros: A beautiful retreat. Warm and cosy . Amazing views and a very comfortable house. It felt clean and lovely the minute I stepped in.

Cons: The plastic Kettle ! Not keen on boiling my water in plastic and yes of course I could use a pan. I am being very picky but you asked .

On the whole it's a winner

Pros: We like this accommodation a lot and have stayed before which speaks volumes. It is generally a well kept and clean property in a lovely quiet location close to the sea. Not too ridiculously priced compared to some places either (although is was wintertime). The issue with the TV not working was resolved very quickly.

Cons: Let down a tad by a couple of minor issues such as a lack of decent hangers in the wardrobe, the towels were a bit 'rough' and nothing has been done to replace the light out in the kitchen (as mentioned on our previous stay) Although there is a notice to use the wash up liquid provided all we found was a near empty bottle. Some hard to reach cobwebs were noted in the lounge because a dead fly dropped on my husband from the rafters.

Christmas perfect.

Pros: The view is stunning. From the balcony there are views of the field of sheep at the back and the ocean at the front. There is a second balcony on the lower floor from the bedroom...this is an upside down house. Everything you could possibly need for self catering. In fact the best equipped kitchen we have ever had. The only thing I missed was a bath...but that is minor. Comfortable living area to relax in the evening with a decent sized and well positioned TV for cosy nights in. The beach is very close with the coast walk to Polperro a lovely day out. We loved our winter stay in this cosy warm cottage by the sea. Excellent communication from the hosts. Above and beyond.

Pros: Very cosy and comfortable. Great location. Much as advertised and seen in the photos. Great value for money and ideal size for the 2 of us.

Perfect escape

Pros: We loved the location, the views, the seclusion, yet also so much to do. We fitted so much in, whilst also having a wonderfully chilled break. This property was an absolute find, book it, you will not regret it! Comfortable, cosy, with everything you need! Beautiful coastal walks into Polperro and Looe and a great base for exploring the rest of Cornwall. The little bench up at Talland church was my favourite spot. Such a beautiful view of Talland Bay.

Cons: Some of the roads leading to the property were a little tight and a bit scary (I left the driving to my husband). Fortunately at the time we were there, they weren’t particularly busy (last week in August)

A little slice of Cornwall - perfect!

Pros: Everything. Who wouldn’t like the location? Yards from the bay, the smell of the sea, the cry of the gulls and the peace when visitors to the local beach cafe have left. If you have no intentions of driving somewhere everyday but relish challenging walking then this is perfect. The house/apartment/cottage - not sure exactly how to describe it is perfect for couples. The balcony has great views - ignore the chimneys of the lower property, that can’t be helped. If you intend to self cater then take all you need. There is no local convenient store.

Cons: Nothing of note.

Probably the best place we ever rented!

Pros: It was perfect! The views are truly amazing - the beach, the sheeps, the greenery... The house has everything we need edand more. There is no smart TV but there are lots of DVD's with old classic films and we enjoyed it so much! Good shower, good mattress...

Lovely & peaceful holiday retreat.

Pros: Pretty much everything - what's not to like! Perfect location, great views, great value for money. Kitchen very well equipped, tea & coffee facilities provided on arrival (including fresh milk in the fridge!). The free parking is also a major plus.

Cons: Was a little dusty/some cobwebs in places - mostly the hard to reach areas like the ceiling beam in the main living area, a few cobwebs that could do with dusting away. Decking a little tired and unsafe for dog in some areas.
