Pros: Loved the space and facilities. Lots of dishes so could use the dishwasher economically rather than washing up. The view was amazing

Cons: The steps were indeed very steep and I felt the handrail should reach the top. The steps were damp and obviously this time of year with leaves too they can get slippery so would have felt safer with the handrail from the top. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very dark for us ladies who like to use make-up 😊 nowhere bright to do that.

Pros: Such a comfortable, well kitted-out house, with amazing views out to the sea. Great access to the coastal path and the cafe on the beach is nice too. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: The property has everything, from a beautiful kitchen to a snug, all with a view of the bay. Simply stunning. I must have taken a picture of it every day. At the bottom of the garden there’s a gate that leads you onto the beach with a little cafe that is well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location and stay. It’s been amazing.

When Can I Come Again?!?!?!

Pros: I liked being blown away by Spectacular views, gorgeous scenery, a lovely homey house, & feeling like I was home from home, just a countryside haven, peaceful, with no noise, no disturbances, just relaxing & unstressing, the place is so magical just as I like !

Cons: Just a garden tidy up to keep those views unlocked & everything pretty as can be, but this isn't really even a negative, as it is so relaxing so actually I didn't 'not like' anything!

Stunning views in a lovely, comfortable house

Pros: The location is stunning, Talland Bay is a lovely quiet area with single track lanes to get to it. There are views of the sea from the kitchen, living room, dining room and sun room. It’s even lovely in a storm! The 3 downstairs bedrooms are tucked away at the back of the house so it’s a quiet, comfortable sleep, even in a storm. Everything you could need is provided and the kitchen is beautiful. The walls from the property are spectacular along the coastal path and up to the church. If you like to dive or wild swim the location couldn’t be any better. The garden steps lead you all the way down to the beach car park, with a cute cafe at the bottom.

Cons: The place is all on one level, which sounds great for disabled people but there are very steep steps leading to the front door. We were comforted by the fact that there is also an entrance with 3 shallow steps, leading to the kitchen door. My Dad is disabled and we were hoping to use this entrance through the garden gate, but the gate was locked because I hadn’t heard back from the owners about where to find the key to the gate. It lead to a panic attack from dad and a very difficult check in which spoiled the first day a little. This isn’t the owners fault though as I should have checked these details in advance. The garden steps were do-able for an elderly couple. The tap in the en suite room downstairs did not work properly - no hot water and only a trickle. Both are minor things and overall, our stay was wonderful.
