Pros: House was well equipped. Quiet. Sea view. Tintagel in reasonable walking distance.Everything worked.

Cons: Hot water system location in one of the bedrooms.

Pros: Lovely cottage in a fabulous location, with great views, and close to amazing walks along the SW Coastal path, and lots of interesting places to visit. We walked to Tintagel, St Nectans Glen and to Boscastle. Visited Port Isaac, Padstow and Bude - all within easy reach. Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven real gems - though we were there off season and so relatively quiet.

Cons: Not a problem at all - but just to be aware - like much of Cornwall, and what is part of its beauty and charm, is that some of the local roads are narrow, winding and steep! Don't always follow the satnav! The shortest route is not necessarily the easiest!

Pros: Nice location, quiet private group of cottages on/near the farm. Lovely view over the hills. Nice arrangement of the accommodation with the living space on the top floor with the views and the bedrooms on the ground floor. Well equipped.

Cons: Small hot water tank meant cold shower on occasion, no instructions for how to turn hot water on for a boost. Unable to control heating as Nest system was locked - so stuck with noisy boiler on a timetable we couldn't control in one bedroom and having to turn radiators on and off to get control of the temperature. Tried to contact Sykes cottages to see if we could stay an extra night at the start of our holiday but unable to get through on the phone and website did not allow us to try to extend the dates as it was late notice ( on the day we wanted ). Unable to contact anyone to discuss.

Secluded and quiet base from which to explore Cornwall.

Pros: Ample off-road parking is always a good start! The property was clean and tidy with enough of everything - and not too many knick-knacks to get in the way. We were grateful for the milk in the fridge on arrival. The WiFi was great, too. Easy access to Tintagel (3km walk or drive) and the A39 not too far away make this a great base to explore Cornwall.

Cons: Really, there was nothing wrong! The previous renters had left the place smelling of fish which, despite the efforts of the caretaker, took most of the week to dissipate - but that’s not the property’s fault and didn’t bother us too much. Our only ‘gripe’ was that there was not enough hot water to fill the bath. So we showered. No big deal 😀

Pros: Great walks! The ancient carvings and St Nectan's Glen were very special

Great location, lovely cottage, clean, comfortable, and cosy.

Pros: Great views. Really cosy and clean. Could get to great beaches and walks really easily

Pros: Property owner messaged me before arriving to advise that the property was available, and shared information about how the heating functions worked etc- this was easy to use. Property was very clean and as described in advert. Location was beautiful with lots of great walks close by.

Pros: Wunderschönes Cottage. Ruhige Lage und ländliche Lage mit Blick auf das Meer und die Kühe. Absolut ruhig.
