Lovely peaceful stynning location

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous cottage. Amazing setting with the stream behind so relaxing

Pros: Tranquility and peace. The only sounds were of nature. Warm and comfortable. Good water pressure and lots of hot water. Brilliant for walks up or down the valley and also along the SW coast path. Robin was very helpful. I didn't like receiving numerous conflicting and confusing messages from Sykes and booking.com. Some applied to generic bookings.

Idyllic cottage beautiful location

Pros: The cottage was incredible idyllic setting, Robin was lovely and friendly. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. The beds comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome .The woodland walk and gardens beautiful short walk to coastal path.

Pros: Location is great and you can walk upstream on their private footpath to join the public footpath up towards the waterfall. The footpath the other way to the sea is also lovely. Dishwasher is amazingly fast and efficient - old ones may use more water but they really do the business. TV was also great, decent size and has Netflix. Woodburner makes this a really cosy love nest! Toilet flushes well (often a problem in old places, we find) and the shower is absolutely excellent, the hot water comes through quickly everywhere. Facilities, equipment and provided basics are generally very good. Parking slots were adequate with only 2 vehicles in 4 slots.

Cons: No info about logs/kindling before going would be helpful to a lot of people, as it was we remembered we needed to get rid of a load of both and had a van so we took it with us. Some taps are not labelled H & C and are plumbed the opposite way round to usual. If you have a M or LWB Dispatch van or bigger we suggest you ask the host to reserve you the slot nearest the cottages as you'll struggle to get in and out between other cars.

Nice rest

Pros: This place has own magic and soul. The really good location to reach for different historical places around. View from windows is amazing too. Working fireplace gives you a very warm atmosphere.

Cons: Too late time for check in and too early for check out. You have to take with your own towels, tea and coffee, spices to cook breakfast or dinner.

Lovely cottage for relaxing break.

Pros: Idyllic place to stay, quiet cosy cottage with everything needed, beautiful gardens to sit in and woods behind to walk to waterfall. Perfect!

Lovely cottage in a stunning location.

Pros: Beautiful property in an incredibly stunning location, 15 min walk to the beach through a gorgeous wild valley.

Cons: The matresses are not the comfiest, although theres an element of personal preference in that. Also, the house has no kitchen essentials, so we had to buy olive oil etc

Pros: Mill was immaculate. The log fire was stunning. And the stream at the back was beautiful

Cons: The utensils etc on offer by the cottage helps make your stay amazing and stress free

Pros: This place is an absolute gem. Surrounded by beautiful woodlands and rivers.

Brilliant!

Pros: Fantastic location by the stream flowing through St Nectan's glen with an amazing woodland garden and paths onwards to the waterfall. Robin Evans was a great host, informative and most helpful. Very comfortable and well-equipped cottage, great atmosphere.

Cons: The only minor problem was very poor television reception.
