Woodland Retreat

Pros: Firstly, Anna is a fantastic host. She is always available to answer any questions or queries and nothing is too much trouble. Great location. Very peaceful. Well presented accommodation. You do not feel overlooked by any neighbouring properties. Parking is a 30 second walk away.... at most! Access to all on site amenities such as a shop, restaurant, bar, pool and entertainment. Great transport links to explore other areas of Cornwall - onsite bus stop to Penzance or St. Ives. - St. Erth train station park and ride 5 mins away. Would definitely stay again 👍🏻

Cons: Limited storage for hanging clothes - additional hangers would be beneficial.

Excellent value for 4 people, quiet and private, comfy and well equipped.

Pros: Quiet, self contained and private chalet surrounded by woodland. Clean and comfy, well equipped.

Great stay in woodland.

Pros: Plenty of room for the both of us and had everything that we would need. It was clean, beds were comfy with lovely fresh white linen and towels. We watched a couple of the dvd’s available and there were books too. Perfect base whilst being in easy reach of parts of Cornwall that we wanted to explore. Nestled in woodlands and surrounded by nature, lovely 🩵

Cons: Only gripe would be the tv channels were few and not seemed to be tuned in properly

Pros: Anna went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay extra special. She is very quick to respond to any enquiry. It was a lovely relaxing stay with the added bonus of having a selection of books and dvds there. It felt very homely.

Cons: There was a slight smell of damp on arrival which you don't notice after a while.

Pros: Very quiet location and only 2 minutes walk to clubrooms and bus stop.

Cons: Nothing,all good.

A couple of nights at the woodland retreat

Pros: We stayed over the new year break. It was warm and welcoming when we arrived and we appreciated the fresh flowers and prosecco that were left for us The site was, as we expected, very quiet which suited us and we had a great couple of nights.

Cons: The site WIFI and phone signal weren't always great which was sometimes a bit problematic but also a good reminder of just how easy it is to become too reliant on our phones.

Relaxing short getaway would be happy to stay again

Pros: Lovely woodland setting. Property was very clean on arrival and we enjoyed our stay

Cons: Had a problem adjusting hot water in shower. Water was either too cool or too hot

Pros: When we arrived, there was no toilet paper. My partner went to the toilet after a long journey,and we had trouble finding toilet paper. The bin had no bags in . Flowers were left from the previous stay, and water was so smelly in the vase, that all room was smelling from it. Otherwise, all was OK

Cons: Luck of play for kids. No football playground or basketball . Most of the kids were extremely bored there, my son met kids, who couldn't stand to stay there.

Pros: The cottage is very nice and excellent most things you would want and on a very nice site with a good club house

Pros: Fijn en compleet huisje in het bos (in het vakantiepark). Heerlijk rustig gelegen.

Cons: Het huisje, incl. keukeninventaris waren niet echt schoon.
