St. Ives Holiday Village

Perfect way to spend my 50th on a wet and rainy February with my little furry bestie!

Pros: So peaceful at this time of year and I really enjoyed the park being set among all the old trees. The woodland walk was the perfect length and well worth walking down to the gorgeous meadow by the river with my dog. Then enjoyed a home cooked breakfast from the shop which was comparatively priced to any local shop :)

Cons: Shame the pool wasn't open, but I did enjoy a swim and sauna with nobody else in the pool at the other park.

Fantastic we will be planing to visit again.

Pros: Facilities where clean, had all that we needed for a family get away

Cons: Had all essentials, staff were friendly, and the children activities absolutely amazing . Shout out to the 3 people that run the children activities they are excellent.

Pros: Lovely caravan in a good location handy for st Ives. Staff were friendly check in was easy and straightforward.

Cons: Very expensive drinks at the bar, if they were cheaper I would have bought more drinks. TV in the caravan is very old and so small, a remote control for I guess the ceiling speakers didn't work.

Pros: It was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, had two toilets as well were a group of 4 this made it a lot easier for us all. And one of them was an en suite. The lodge was clean and tidy when we arrived, however some of the cupboards did have some spots that could have done with an extra go over with a cloth. It was warm, and cosy and had everything we needed in there for our week stay

Cons: It could have done with an extra bit of cleaning, although it was surface cleaned and appeared very tidy, there were some areas that were a little dirty. The sofa material made it sometimes uncomfortable to sit on, but manageable with quilts and pillows.

Really nice

Pros: It was a last minute getaway, we didn't use any of the parks facilities or encounter any staff. Just a base while we explored the area.

Pros: Polite and responsive staffs. Clean environment. It's home away from home for the price. Swimming pool was nice too.

Cons: More play/fun facilities needed.

Would return, to stay in the caravan only and go off site for anything else

Pros: Our caravan was lovely, comfy clean and spacious. Couldn’t fault a thing.

Cons: I felt that the facilities on the site such as play area needed a bit of TLC, we saw where the entertainment was in the evening when we were checking in and it didn’t look appealing so we decided not to try the restaurant. Which is a shame as it is a beautiful site and the caravan was amazing.

Lovely site, ideally placed for all south Cornwall , places to visit

Pros: Loved our upgrade to a platinum lodge. Also the “goodwill “ £25 drinks voucher. Fantastic customer service service !

Cons: The first chalet we was offered. Smelly, dark and so far away from the clubhouse

Pros: Very nice and clean accommodation. Good location. Beautiful woodland

Pros: Spacious chalet. Helpful staff. Close to town and beaches. We stayed in a chalet closer to the woods, where it was nice and quiet at night, and we could rest very well.

Cons: Unfortunately, inside the chalet we stayed in , it was a strong smell of mould. The chalet was clean, except small spiders and spider web in the kitchen, living room, and bathroom. We had to hunt for a parking space closer to our chalet. The play area for kids is quite small, could do with a bigger one or an extra one. Overall, it would need some improvement.
