Woodland bungalow

Great value get away in the bungalow but site left something to be desired.

Pros: Unit was lovely. Nice and clean, had everything needed for our stay from cleaning products to a blanket on the sofa. Nice quiet location on a lovely park with a little shop on site, clubhouse with a bar and restaurant and large pool with water slide. Having a partially ambulatory wheelchair user the unit was accessible from the carpark with a paved path and with the layout it was manageable despite the step in. Unit had a half bath with shower, nice modern set up and very homely. Restaurant and bar were very reasonably priced and overall the stay was well worth the money. The owner/property manager I dealt with was fantastic. Very helpful when I wanted to add another night as well as sorting out passes for the amenities on site etc.

Cons: Pool facilities on site were disappointing. The pool area and the pool itself was dirty, many things floating around the pool and it was absolutely freezing, not just cold but absolutely Baltic. Dipping your head underwater to get used to it was impossible. The arcade was very disappointing also with the majority of machines either broken but still running, either not giving out tickets or taking the money and not working and it was in a bit of a mess. The entertainment on the whole was a bit thin in the ground having paid for the use of these amenities and the quality of them from the John Fowler site, we weren't overly impressed. I assumed for the time of year and being the last school holiday of the year it was just not worth sorting everything but we lost out because of it. The double bed and sofa were comfortable enough although there were huge dips in both which were uncomfortable after a while.

Nice quiet bungalow.

Pros: Nice quiet bungalow in a holiday park. The rooms though a bit small were fine and the bathroom was good for our needs. I can't comment on the facilities on the camp as we didn't use them. Its a bit out of the way and so a car is recommended.

Pros: The Site the bungalow was on was beautiful.The bungalow was very clean,tidy and cosy.The owner was very thoughtful and had left coffee,milk ect and a few toys for the kids to borrow which was appreciated after a long drive.The owner was also very helpful in providing information before we arrived.The site has a swimming pool and entertainment every night.The nearby beaches are also stunning.Would highly recommend staying here !!!

Pros: Really clean, neat, lovely decorated and well equipped! Lots of small details that really makes it feel like home! Was really impressed with things like good quality crockery and sharp proper chef knives, baking paper and kitchen towel, proper hand was and toilet spray, to mention a few but you really don’t need to bring anything extra for the kitchen or to cook food! Perfect location, very central, close to shops and 10min from most beautiful beach! We absolutely loved our stay!

Pros: We enjoyed our 4 nights stay at the Woodland Bungalow. It was a very comfortable stay for our family with 2 children. The rooms were convenient and spacious enough to stay for 4 nights.

Holiday bungalow in woodland setting within a holiday village

Pros: Superb location in woodland with easy access by car to the St. Ives / Hayle area. Small but comfortable private holiday home with all facilities provided. Useful shop / launderette etc on site.

Cons: Access on foot is via a short section of busy road with no pavement so a car is definitely needed to access local areas.

Fantastic location

Pros: Top location, the bungalow have everything you need for a perfect holiday. Very close to everything and the woodland view in the morning is top, also there are very friendly squirrels and robins pop in front of the door outside waiting for a snack 😁.

Great little cosy spot

Pros: Lovely clean comfortable space in a great location with great added amenities near by. Great communication from the property hosts . My children and us enjoyed the woodland and the swimming pool onsite. We also loved the little added touches at the property. Very thoughtful. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you
