Rural Retreat Chy Kensa a Hot Tub Haven

Very nice weekend away and will be returning at a later date

Pros: Was very clean and cozy, in a perfect location for what we wanted that weekend. Couldn’t fault anything with it

Lovely little retreat, super pet friendly.

Pros: Location was great, and the place really is pet friendly, not just saying it. Had a pet blanket, treats, bowls, and poo bags there ready and waiting. Nice size, and in January when we went, it was lovely and quiet. Rural Retreat Chy Kensa were easy to communicate with when needed, and even checked in on us during the red storm warning we endured whilst on site.

Cons: Only slight complaint we would have is that the gas oven and hob were quite difficult to use since there are no longer any temperature markings on it. Other than that, and only being provided a singular roll of toilet paper for a 5 night stay, there are no complaints.

What a gem of a place xx

Pros: Beautiful rural haven like it says , hot tub was a treat we love it . Netflix on the tv was a bonus . The whole thing really, good communication with the owners .

Great stay

Pros: Very comfortable caravan. In good condition. Lovely to have the jacuzzi which has a screen around decking for privacy.

Cons: We went out of season so everything on site closed. To be expected though.

To sum up are stay we had a great time and overall good experience and would consider staying again. The only negatives

Pros: We loved the shortbread and leaflets that were left for us in the lounge. The shortbread was delicious and the leaflets were useful! We were grateful for the kitchen supplies and the amount of towels which also helped a lot when using the pool and hot tub.

Cons: We didn’t like the lack of privacy in the hot tub. The hot tub lid adds some privacy but when it was windy it kept blowing down and with neighbours at your left/front and to your right. We felt very over looked. The amount of spiders above the curtains and cobwebs in the light shades was also a disappointment (they had clearly been there a while) The body wash dispenser in the shower though a great touch doesn’t fully work which was frustrating when we realised we forgot all are shower products.

Perfect in every way!

Pros: Loved the hot tub and caravan, perfect size for my partner and I, plus a lazy husky. Shower was awesome and best nights sleep I’ve had in weeks!

Cons: Nothing not to like, oh other than lack of a pint glass. That said, it was funny watching my other half drink his lager out of a wine glass one evening :)

Perfect for a break away from real life!

Pros: Property was spotless and has everything you need for a break away. Location is peaceful and perfect as a base to explore Cornwall. Great communication from the host before/during our stay, we would highly recommend this property.

Pros: Fantastic accomodation in an amazing location. The caravan was spotless, cosy and homely. All necessary utensils provided for cooking & even hand wash, dish detergent etc. We stayed near Christmas and there were some fab little Xmas decs provided and mince pies & local biscuits :). Smart TV is a bonus as was the hot tub which was perfect temperature and really good quality. Such a quiet but central location for exploring Cornwall. We have stayed in countless caravans but this was our favorite of all time. We will look forward to returning! Thanks for the mince pies :)

Definitely be back again ideal for a few nights away, very comfortable and hosts were excellent with communication.
