Valley View Lodges

Pros: We had a wonderful stay over Christmas and really enjoyed our time here. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. It was lovely and warm inside, which was perfect during the winter season. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. It was a great place to spend the holidays with family, with a cosy atmosphere and plenty of privacy. Everything was well organised and made our stay very enjoyable

Halloween weekend away

Pros: Everything, the style, ease of facilities! Lodges were so lovely and spacious and will DEFINITELY be returning!

Beautiful lodge with all mod cons, perfect quiet location.

Pros: Lovely lodge, all mod cons and fully kitted out with everything you need for a short stay or longer holiday. The flock of peacocks were amazing. Great for star gazing as it's so dark.

Cons: With the cooler days, it would be great to have throws for the living area and sitting outside. A few little homely touches would make this even more perfect!

Great, comfortable stay in a beautiful location

Pros: Gorgeous location, friendly staff and easy check-in, peacocks everywhere which was very special! Comfortable beds and great provisions in terms of kitchenware. Lots of space in the cabins - perfect for a family visit to the surrounding area.

Cons: Only thing was the water pressure in the shower was very low. Otherwise fantastic.

Family stay

Pros: Beautiful space, large lodge, clean. We enjoyed a little stroll over to the restaurant/pub where we sat outside, views are stunning. We also went for a woodland walk and got to see the ponies / horses. Staff were brilliant.

Pros: The property was set in a lovely location, just off the a38. Peacocks walking around freely ponies at the bottom of the site. Looking onto a lovely woodland. Surrounding areas very nice also. Lodges were very spacious with all the appliances you would need.

Two bed lodge in peaceful setting

Pros: The lodge was really lovely. It was clean and modern, the beds were comfortable, lovely balcony overlooking endless trees. There were horses, peacocks, and lots of other wildlife. It was an extremely peaceful setting. The staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good.

Cons: The restaurant and bar were rather pricey. We paid £21+ for two cans of coke, a glass of wine, and a vodka and coke. It was a beautiful location with animals around, but there wasn't really anything much for children to do.

Pros: Absolutely fabulous we stayed for a week but could have stayed forever, lodge was perfect beautiful decor had everything we needed and more. Perfectly located to visit various places in Cornwall. The peacocks and the ponies were lovely, carvery was excellent, woodland hack was glorious, the girl who led my 3 year old was absolutely fantastic. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place.

Beautiful and relaxing stay!

Pros: Stunning location, wonderful views and tranquil. Lodge was comfortable, spacious and cosy. Loved the wildlife. Friendly staff.

Cons: Understand with the location that there are hills, however due to others not understanding the signs properly we got in a bit of a pickle doing the one way system in and out (keeping left) as others were keeping right instead. We assume this was due to the first sign saying keeping right so you dont go down to the little house when you first come off the main road.
