Lovely location, cosy, family friendly

Pros: Great central location by the river, nice building and private parking. Neutral decor, comfy furniture. Lots of natural light. Good shower room.

Cons: A little musty in the bedroom, and dehumidifiers a bit noisy. Quite a lot of \

Awesome property, great location and a true gem of a find for exploring North Cornwall

Pros: Great location, very light airy spacious and warm. Everything thoughtfully catered for from the most comfy bed to fluffy towels and kitchen stuff. Power shower and heated towel rail awesome! Good Internet and secure parking. Great character property and hosts were attentive to any problems. Definite booking again though my waistline won't forgive the awesome fish and chips, pasties and Nepalese food we got in the village!

Cornish memory

Pros: The property was clean and well equipped for our two night stay and would be great for longer stays to explore all of the attractions that cornwall has on offer. We used the Nook as our base for our trip to the Eden project and Skywire ride and would certainly consider for future visits to cornwall.

Amazing cottage with all that you can wish for in a lovely village!

Pros: The property was lovely it had all you need, including a cosy fireplace. The village was very welcoming, everyone was so kind from the hardware store that sells everything to the Visions hair salon lady who was so nice, both gave great tips of things to do locally.

Cons: There was a lot of condensation inside especially in the bedroom. There was no safe way to leave windows partly open for the cottage to ventilate as it is on the ground floor and very close and visible to the main road. I would suggest to put safety locks on the windows maybe? We left the window in bathroom open after using the shower as instructed but that didn’t help much. A dehumidifier would not be enough to fix this. It didn’t rain during our stay expect for the first night. Because of the above there was quite a lot of mould behind the furniture and not as clean behind doors etc as I had hoped. My youngest daughter suffers from allergies and I was worried about the air quality. Shame as the cottage itself is really lovely and decoration perfect. I had secretly hoped for (as I booked to for myself and my two daughters) that the guest bed would have been made already like they do in hotels, as only the double bed was ready for use. After a long drive from London with lots do traffic I did not really enjoy opening the bed getting the duvet out of bag putting the sheets on and making the single bed when paying quite a lot for the 5 nights.

Pros: Was a lovely little place, and the location was the great

Cons: It was slightly damp, but probably due to it needing a good airing.

Good once heating issue sorted.

Pros: Large size. Free on-site parking. Washing machine. Comfortable bed.

Cons: Very cold on arrival. Owners off-site. Great trouble working out how to get the main room heaters to work. Owner organised neighbour (Phil) to come and assist and between the two of us we eventually worked it out. Multiple switches to get the heaters working and everything had to be correct and if you fiddle with it and get one switch wrong then you make it difficult for yourself. Have to make sure blue light on for remote to work and if you accidentally turn it off while trying to work the system out then it won’t work. Of course, easy when you know how. As owners are off-site there are a lot of advisory notes around on what to do and don’t do.
