Super bargain winter break . Lovely food

Pros: Cosy comfortable friendly old world charm great location modern facilities

Great rooms, clean spacious and in a perfect location to access the coastal path.

Pros: Really great location in the middle of Fowey, friendly staff, food was okay.

Cons: Lack of parking was a bit tedious, also not a huge fan of the dead animal gallery….but that’s irrelevant- maybe not one for vegans.

Good value centrally located accommodation.

Pros: Superbly located in the centre of town. The room (and particularly the en suite) was spacious and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was very good.

Cons: Nothing for the very reasonable price.

Homely, clean, safe and friendly. Would stay again.

Pros: Lovely staff who were happy to help with anything. Huge delicious breakfast of whatever we asked for. Very sweet and cosy. A little walk from the car park (which is cheap) so best to drop bags off then park.

Pros: Old pub with a character, cosy atmosphere, nice selection of beers and a fireplace make such a difference to other cold places

Nicest b&b I’ve stayed in.

Pros: Very friendly welcome in a lovely ancient pub. Rooms were by contrast modern and light with excellent en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was great and again, the staff were delightful. Perfect location for an out of season break in the very heart of a beautiful town by the sea.

Pros: Central location in Fowey. Really friendly landlord who made us very welcome and the bar area has a lovely friendly feel. The room was clean, modern and well equipped. We were very comfortable there and would definitely stay again.

Pros: Warm welcome, lovely open fire. Modern, clean, warm & comfortable room. Excellent pub grub. Perfect location. Good value for money. We'd stay again in a heartbeat 💓

Cons: Personally, for us, the bacon and sausage served at breakfast looked anaemic. It was all cooked but we like our bacon rind/fat to at least be browned off. This is obviously subjective to the individual and doesn't detract from the excellent quality of the food.
