Secluded woodland annex between Mylor and Flushing

Cosy and relaxing

Pros: The accommodation was lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had pretty much everything needed to cook. The annex was extremely spacious. The location was gorgeous because of the country setting. I would recommended having a car. The host was so lovely and accommodating. Overall a fantastic stay.

A lovely location for a short Cornish break.

Pros: I booked the barn last minute as I wanted to visit an aunt who had suddenly become very poorly. The property is beautifully well laid out and adjoins the owner's house which sits in a very secluded part of the countrysisde. Wildlife abounds all around - on our approach we saw pheasant, quail and a rather nervous looking dark tabby cat! If it's escape from the everyday and birdsong you're looking for, you will certainly find that here. While the barn is set within a very peaceful location, be aware that if you like walking, there are signs along the lane leading to the property stating that the public is not permitted access to the surrounding conservation area - a great pity. The owners were friendly and helpful and the fresh milk and a bottle of bubbly left in the fridge were a nice surprise.

Cons: Unfortunately, despite the best endeavours of the owner, other than the electric towel rail in the bathroom, the heating resolutely refused to come on - not really what you'd want to experience in mid-November. The owner kindly loaned us a small oil-filled radiator, but thankfully, we were out for most of the day, so only needed to use it during the chillier evenings. Despite a search, the hot water bottle advertised within the property description could not be found. I personally think that it would be helpful to provide a small microwave, which could possibly fit into the cupboard adjacent to the hob.

Beautiful secluded property close to Falmouth

Pros: A superb property with great facilities in a beautiful secluded location. The host and owner were very helpful and kind in responding to a few requests we made. We had a great stay and hope to come back again at some point in the future.

Fully equipped, spacious modern annex

Pros: Gorgeously renovated property in a quiet location, had everything you could possibly need, well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, would definitely return

Pros: Die Ruhe und die Abgelegenheit und dass alles vorhanden war, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt braucht

Cons: Im Schlafzimmer über dem Fenster hat es Schimmel. Der Esstisch ist ungeschickt platziert und nicht sehr gemütlich. Die Kunststoffgläser fanden wir unpassend und rostige Messer (an der Magnethalterung - ich habe dann alle Rostflecken entfernt).

Séjour en pleine nature

Pros: Appartement calme situé en pleine nature au bout d'un joli chemin. Bien équipé. Le tout propre et en parfait état.

Cons: Nous sommes malheureusement arrivés lors d'une période froide et pluvieuse du printemps A notre demande, le chauffage a été allumé après notre arrivée. L'appartement a lentement gagné en température, mais est resté humide et froid à notre goût.

Pros: Lovely little cottage, quiet and perfect for relaxing. We took our dog who was well catered for and the use of the garden was a bonus. Warm and welcoming owner and fantastic accommodation that provided everything we needed and more.
