Ye Old Mill - Stylish cosy retreat with parking

A lovely place to stay, but just consider the size of your car

Pros: The place was very cute and cosy, so it was exactly how I imagined it from the photos online. I really appreciated the quickness of replies to messages I'd sent, and found the owner very accommodating. The place was very clean and I particularly appreciated a little bottle of milk in the fridge on arrival. A nice touch!

Cons: The sound of the traffic at night as loud motorbikes and cars seemed to enjoy going up and down the road outside, which were very annoying. I actually had to pause TV and rewind programmes as I could not hear what was being said when they were going past. I didn't like not being able to control the heating myself either, as I needed it on for the cool evenings when it had gone off. However, I messaged the owner, and she put it on for me straight away, which I was pleased about The turning into the car park is very tight, so I was thankful for having a small car, as a larger car would struggle. Once in the car park, if all other spaces are being used, it's hard to turn your car around or get out again, so this is something to bear in mind. The only other thing I can think of is that I would have appreciated a net curtain in the bedroom, as it would be nice to have the curtains open while getting dressed in the morning
