Peaceful Christmas retreat

Pros: Warm welcome, the hosts Barbara and Richard were lovely. The accommodation was clean tidy and had all the facilities we wanted. We were asked if we wanted any decorations up for our Christmas stay and those that were put up were tastefully done with a hint of timelessness. Set in beautiful rural countryside the Dovecote is a peaceful & tranquil escape, expect hooting owls, mooing cows & bird song. Lots of local information on hand if you wanted to venture further afield.

Enjoyed every minute . Completely rejuvenated

Pros: It was very cosy , had everything I needed and was perfectly placed for a very relaxed time away from it all . The hosts are very accommodating and make you feel right at home

A Little Slice of Paradise

Pros: Peace and tranquility. Beautiful surroundings, comfy bed. Wonderful bath and big log burner.

The stay, the property, the location, the hosts absolutely perfect

Pros: We loved absolutely everything about this property. The location was absolutely perfect so quiet exactly what we was looking for and such a beautiful pretty location. The amenities were fantastic everything you would require and as for the hosts they were the nicest people ever could not do enough for you and just to add to the greeting experience we was left some homemade scones with jam and cream in the fridge. Full sized fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and so much more. The property has central heating but also has a log burner to add to the experience not that we needed to use it as the property was warm enough, beautiful setting with stunning views, such a stunning property will definitely been returning. If you are looking for peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting this will not disappoint you.

Cons: Did not like having to this beautiful property.

Gem of a find - wonderful property

Pros: What a gem of a find - I wanted remote to get away and just walk with my dog - it was exactly what I needed - Barbara and Richard were wonderful hosts - such lovely people …. The dovecote was home from home with absolutely everything you would need for a stay. Would definitely love to come back sometime.

Lovely stay at The Dovecote.

Pros: The Dovecote was very cosy, comfortable and peaceful. A great place to relax and unwind. The owners were very friendly and accommodating but also gave you your privacy which was great. Absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely recommend it. The location is quite remote but so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was equipt with all your home comforts.

Romantic get away

Pros: Amazing romantic little hide away so peaceful, the views from the decking area was stunning and the garden area is perfect to sit in to just to admire the scenery. If you looking for a romantic get away maybe planning to pop the question ,anniversary or even honeymoon or just a break you will love it here ,if you are planning to pop the big question Barbara would be more than happy to help you .
