We can’t recommend this place enough-truly a gem!
Pros: From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. Waiting in the fridge were strawberries dipped in chocolate, chocolates and box of clotted cream fudge - a thoughtful and delicious surprise that instantly made us feel welcome and cared for. The property itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located for exploring the area. Every detail had been considered, from the cozy linens to the well-stocked kitchen. Michelle and Phil were incredibly responsive and kind making our stay smooth and memorable.

Pros: Very clean, landlords are very kind and hospitable. Comfortable for a short stay.
Cons: Windows facing a wall. The dining table is not very practical (set in the corner, cannot be used conveniently). Drive to the village is tricky - one convenient route, but if you take another the road is very narrow.

Pros: The setting was wonderful, in a very quiet little village. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There is a small shop around 100m from the property which sells most of the essentials you'd need. The lodge itself was great. Very comfortable bedding. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. It's a small lodge, but plenty of room for the 3 of us staying. There is a speaker for playing music and Sky TV if you want to watch something. The price was fantastic, we were really happy with the value of our stay. I think it's the best privately hosted lodge/room I've ever used. I'd not hesitate to return.

We were very glad that we had chosen St Chads from an extensive list of places
Pros: The property was new, modern and had all the facilities anyone would need. Clean, with all sorts of useful items, in an excellent position in a lovely friendly village. The owners were charming, and Michelle had even made us chocolate coated strawberries as a welcome! It was very warm and well insulated, and there was a lovely outside seating area. It was secure, and even had a locking external gate. The location was central to most of Cornwall - some small lanes around to negotiate, but that's just Cornwall ! There is a friendly local shop a few doors away, a friendly village pub with good grub down the road (which is used by the locals, so that tells you it's good) and a lovely old church with beautiful birdsong in the churchyard.
Cons: Maybe a small storage area for dry food might have been useful, but the fridge had a freezer unit which was really good, so not a dislike, just a suggestion

We had a lovely stay at a lovely lodge, not even 10 mins away from the Eden Project.
Pros: Lovely lodge, cosy and comfortable. Good facilities, good big Smart TV with Sky, the bed was very comfy and nice furnishings. We would recommend.
Cons: Nothing to complain about, but could had done with knowing the 4 digit Pin with Sky, (if watching something that needed it), but it didn't cause too much issues.

We had a lovely break, would definitely recommend.
Pros: The property was lovely, owners were really polite and friendly, and also gave good advice on where to visit. No issues with the cabin as such, it’s in a quaint little area, with close access to the Eden Project, would definitely visit again!

A perfect location, ran by great hosts, that thoroughly exceeded our expectations.
Pros: The location was perfect for what we were looking to do. Great walks close by, as well as a lovely pub. Only a short drive to a multitude of other great locations also
Cons: Honestly we couldn't have asked for anything more. If I'm being incredibly particular I would have liked a little more pressure in the shower, but that's a personal preference and not a comment on the lovely facilities at hand.

Lovely lodge
Pros: Lovely hosts. Lovely, cosy & clean rooms. Comfortable bed, two of us slept on the sofa bed, had a good sleep. Less than 10 minutes drive to Eden Project on the last day before going home. Would like to go back again one day.
Cons: Need the oven tray.

Lovely
Pros: Perfect for a short 1/2 night stay with good facilities and in a good location. Close to local pub which is a short walk as is the local shop and also the train station.
Cons: Perhaps if more than two staying and you’re using pull out bed then blinds on main door and window to shut out light but that’s a very small point.
