Stepping Stones Cottage - Lelant

Pros: Clean and well equipped property, had everything I needed in a convenient location. Hospitable host.

Pros: The cottage was very cozy, clean, tidy. Very detailed information from the staff, how to find it. We had a wonderful stay in this cozy place. It was quiet and peaceful outside. Many thanks to the staff for the good welcome, may God bless and keep you 🙏.

Great for staying a bit outside St Ives.

Pros: The chalet is well appointed and lit/heated. It had most of what we needed. We enjoyed walking around the site. There is a bus once an hour to St Ives from the site which saved us driving in. Reasonable amount of parking (we went in July before school hols). Little shop on site was also very handy! For us being able to stay only two nights was really useful (many places have a minimum of 3 nights).

Cons: It's silly but a teapot would have been nice! The single beds weren't the most comfy.

Good value St Ives stay with lovely welcome touches.

Pros: Lovely stay here with nice welcome touches, such as complimentary washing up items and a dishwasher tablet, also, salt, pepper and a cafetiere was provided. Able to check in 3, which is way better than average and the key in the lockbox made it convenient.

Cons: Nothing really. Shower pressure could be better, but was still hot enough overall.

Lovely woodland based chalet

Pros: Clean, great location, good communication with the owner.

Cons: The double bed was uncomfortable, my back was so painful as the bed offered no support. We booked 2 nights and could not have stayed longer on that bed. I do recommend they replace it with a better quality one and then the chalet would be perfect.

Comfortable, well equipped cottage in a wooded setting just outside st Ives.

Pros: Very attractive, well kitted out, comfortable and warm.

Cons: At this time of year the site felt very isolated but of course that meant it was beautifully peaceful.

Pros: It was spotlessly clean all modern and done to a high standard the beds where so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of it x.

Great chalet on a great site, in a great location!

Pros: The property was exactly how it looked in the pictures. It was very clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location. My mom was with us and she is disabled. There were no steps, just a slope down to the chalet, which she found a lot easier. The shower is a walk in double shower so that was also super easy for her too. It was literally a minute’s walk to the clubhouse, swimming pool and shop. We paid the extra to use the clubhouse and pool and it was well worth it. (To book the pool you have to download an app but it was super easy- as it quite often the case on these types of sites, wifi is patchy so download the app before you go!) The bus stop is also just a minute’s walk so easy to use. We were just over 5 mins to get into Hayle and about 10 mins to park up in St Ives. It was also a good base for the other trips we planned: about a 35 mins drive to the Cornish seal sanctuary and Perranporth.

Cons: It was exactly as expected so there wasn’t anything we didn’t like!
