Outstanding service even without power in the premises.

Pros: There was nothing not to like, it was a lovely stay. Katie and Terry went above and beyond. We only stayed one night next time it would be nice for a longer stay. Terry lit tge fire for our arri al back that evening, we had hot water bottles and extra blankets due to no power. The breakfast was outstanding, Kate cooked it all on her portable cooker and still nothing was too much for our hosts. Super friendly and very helpful and accommodating, we will definitely come back soon! Thank you both! I would of included more pics but was limited unfortunately.

Cons: Only grumble was the fact we arrived just after Storm Goretti and the premises was supposed to have power that evening but unfortunately it didnt happen. It didnt stop us from having a lovely candlelit stay with hot water bottles, extra blankets and hot pots of tea available on request. It was unfortunately bad timing but out of the hosts hands, so we can honestly say there was nothing at all to fault with our stay here.

We needed to relax, walk, see new places. Despite poor weather (nobody's fault) we got everything.

Pros: Host was proactive and nice in every respect, doing the very best to make us feel welcome and at home. Place was very quiet and food was amazing.

Beautiful location, fabulous room and wonderful hospitality.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay. Kate and Terry are superb hosts and made us feel very welcome. The tea and brownies on arrival was a lovely treat. The breakfast we had catered beautifully for me being vegetarian and my husband who isn’t. They offered us a great range of foods that were all fresh and locally sourced where possible. Our room was so peaceful and the bed was really comfortable. The view from our room was lovely (see photo). We would definitely recommend staying here and will return ourselves! I loved having the opportunity to cuddle with the goats 🐐

Cons: If there as anything I would like it would be a fridge in the room rather than on the landing but this is probably down to logistics as it’s an old farmhouse.

Great host, lovely peaceful place

Pros: Extremely lovely and helpful host. The room had everything we needed and was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and a beautifully cooked breakfast.

Cons: Nothing - it was all good.

An absolutely perfect B&B. One of the best we've ever known.

Pros: We stayed for a week and each day had either continental-style breakfasts, or Full English Breakfasts, depending on what our day was going to be. Kate makes one of the best home-cooked Full English Breakfasts we've ever had, easily rivaling or surpassing what we've had in either hotels or restaurants. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, refreshed daily, and all the amenities were perfect. The bed is very comfortable and large. Down a quiet lane off the road, the peace and quiet is assured -- as the room was, even with other guests. Kate and Terry are lovely people with fun and helpful conversation and can provide knowledgeable advice about the area. The B&B is within an easy distance just north from Helston and is perfect as a base for exploring Cornwall. In the future, for our visits to Cornwall to see family, we will never stay anywhere else.
