Pros: Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with some useful tips on the local area. The breakfast was plentiful, and we were left alone during breakfast, which was great.

Pros: The property was easy to access and was very clean, I loved the decor of the room and house in general. Also, the breakfast options was superb.

Beautiful clean home with welcoming hosts who would go above and beyond.

Pros: A beautiful and clean home. Hosts were lovely and checked in with us when passing everyday. Lovely quiet area and lovely room with good facilities. Breakfast is set up wonderfully too. Room was nice and warm and en suite was modernised and even provided shampoo, conditioner and soap. Excellent storage space and a large wardrobe. Will definetly be returning next time we are visiting family!

Cons: We felt the only thing we could really think of that could be improved is the shower. The pressure is relatively low meaning it takes a long time to shower. However this is something relatively minor and really didn’t affect our stay!

A lovely property that is well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Pros: Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped and we had a view of St. Ives Bay in the distance. Excellent continental breakfast. We had a parking space at the front of the property.

Cons: The breakfast was excellent but without facilities to warm up a Weetabix we had to ask Michelle to do this for us each morning, which she did.

Exceeded all our expectations

Pros: The St.Ives View room at Meadowview Cottage was a superior, ensuite room. The entire property was exceptional. The owner was friendly and explained everything at arrival.The free Wi-Fi was sufficient for our needs. The TV was a good size. The tea and coffee supplied was more than sufficient; it was great to have a proper size kettle. The ensuite shower room was modern and fully tiled and the towels were soft and generously sized. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent. We'd never booked a homestay before but will definitely consider it as an option when we're next travelling.

Cons: The shower had no shelf or basket to put our shower gels and shampoos so these had to be put on the floor of the shower cubicle, which was a generous size. As bending is difficult for me this was the only, tiny issue.
