Great fun, lovely stay but need a bit more comfort when sitting at my age 😂.

Pros: The Pod was excellent and very warm considering we were in Cornwall during a heavy storm. We thoroughly enjoyed the pod and were very pleased with the quality. Having worked doing maintenance for 30 years on caravan sites and hotels the site was clean and well presented and the pods were in good condition.

Cons: Personally instead of the bunk beds I would have thought a bed settee would have been better as you could have done away with the table and chairs and put in a small unit for storage and just a couple of fold up chairs. You have a large table and benches outside for family seating as these pods will mostly get used in Summer I take it. The bed settee would make the place feel more comfortable and still sleep four in the unit. Just an idea. We found seating uncomfortable in the evening on the chairs in there as we are older now but still like the camping element but without the tent. Best wishes, Mr R Kent

Great value for money, lovely site and onsite bar was quirky!

Pros: Great location only a short drive to the beach. Really great price for the night! Also dog friendly.

Cons: Just facilities were a short walk, so just had to make sure you knew where they were for the middle of the night!

Thoroughly enjoyed it here and will definitely go back as it’s a lovely site.

Pros: Cosy and quaint. Peaceful. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Remember- it’s a glamping pod so don’t expect high luxuries. But no negatives from us. Great food hut on site.

Cons: Nothing wrong with it if you know what you’re going into. Very clean and functional. Nice to get away from tvs and social media.

Pros: Ideal facility at this time of the year. Easy walk into Newquay.

Cons: Going outside to visit the toilet at 5am.

An absolute amazing alternative to camping!!!!

Pros: These pods are an excellent way to camp in luxury. Proper beds a double and bunk beds. There is a table and chairs and most importantly heating. Which warms the pod up very quickly. They provide bedding. Outside you have your own parking outside the pod and a picnic table with seating. You are also allowed bbqs. The whole site was very clean especially the toilet and shower blocks. I’m a wheelchair user and the accessible bathroom was brilliant with handrails and spacious bathroom with 2 sink’s toilet and shower which is lockable once inside. The location was in a perfect location a short drive 10mins to the centre of Newquay. Amazing value for the price will definitely be returning to here!!!!!

A lovely stay.

Pros: Staff were so friendly and it was a lovely site! Great accommodation.

Cons: A bit too far to walk to Crantock. Would be good to have somewhere within walking distance in the evenings.

Overall a lovely stay and if visiting Cornwall again I'd stay here :)

Pros: Pod was great - bunk beds and double bed (bedding provided), table and chairs, storage cube for clothes etc. Electircity and USB chargers are a great addition. Good outside space with picnic bench. Good location for exploration. The walk to Crantock beach is around 30-40 minutes and be prepared to be climbing over rocks so appropriate footwear is a must! The little onsite pub is a great addition, however only open 6m - 9pm each evening. Didn't sample the onsite food van so cannot comment, howeve seemed popular whilst we were there. On site shop is great, can great pretty much anything you would require and the man is super friendly and helpful :)

Cons: Mattress on double bed rather thin so overall bed profile was very hard – aware this is a personal preference and that some people like it like this, but I found it uncomfortable. I also understand the other comments regarding the bedding looking tired. However, when I've stayed in hotels I don't tend to check the condition of the quilt within the bedding so perhaps this is just more apparent as you have to make the beds up yourself? Anyway, we took our own sleeping bags so didn't use the bedding provided anyway. Toilets, showers and washing up areas are a walk away - we’re avid campers so used to this, but again, the facilities may be too far for some. The pool needs to be booked at reception – this isn’t something you’re told at Check In so best ask yourself. You get a 45-minute slot, however, the day we’d booked the gate was broke so anyone could wander in, and nobody was checking how long people were staying for. The pool itself is a decent size but considering the size of the campsite I could see how this could easily get out of hand.

lovely,. clean, value for money, great location, spacious, nie staff overall

Pros: overtall it was amazing as per the above i didnt expoect that for a Pod in a holiday park

Cons: The pool was restricted to 45 minutes per day and had to be booked ion advance The manager was quite terse in her response to me raising that i had not realised the same and also just in her manner generally, saying things like well its never been an issue for anyone else and also this is the same for all holiday parks yet i had genuinely made a mistake not to read the small print and i have never stayed at a holiday park before only villa and hotel where this rule does not apply, i was actually very taken aback and upset by her reaction after i had doen a 7 hour drive to get there, However the other staff however receptionists and also care taker were very lovely and very helpful so it is a shame as the above were the only issues at all that arose.

Great little holiday

Pros: Friendly holiday park with good facilities and a good base to support the beautiful area. The pod was nice and warm and had everything we needed.

Cons: Swimming pool was a bonus but didn’t have a filter so water wasn’t the cleanest Bathrooms could have been cleaned more but nice to have hot showers
