A beautiful, relaxing stay

Pros: An amazing stay, beautiful surroundings and a very comfortable room with everything you need. Extremely relaxing and a lovely pond to swim in or just sit and read next to. Loved having the company of the cows and the adorable cat! Thank you for the delicious cake on arrival too and the milk and tea, just what I needed after a long drive. I will definitely be back next year.

Pros: Fabulous stay for two weary cyclists. Lin went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay, even making us a vegan cream tea to have when we arrived. Sat out on the private decking in the evening looking out over the field and woodland. Very peaceful and good night's sleep. Highly recommended!

Rural retreat

Pros: This is a lovely place to stay, felt really quiet and rural with the cows and birds keeping us company, and the lake was beautiful! Lin was very friendly and offered us helpful advice about the local area.

Cons: The only comment was that it was a little chilly at night, but there were heaters and a spare duvet, we just didn't realise we'd need them the first night!

Tranquil rural location

Pros: Tranquil location by rural property with access to large pond, helpful hosts who welcomed us with homemade cakes.

Cons: Cooking equipment limited for much self catering, couldn’t get WiFi to work and small TV.

Would definitely go back again

Pros: The location was peaceful and close to lots of beautiful coves and villages, the large pond was beautiful and we were able to swim in it, and the cows and Guinea foul that visited the medow were a delight to see.

Cons: Nothing could have been better.

Simply perfect

Pros: Beautiful location, had everything we needed, perfect for our Cornwall Adventure! Host was very welcoming and couldn’t have chosen better accommodation.

Very comfortable lodge and easy travelling to the local area including the Eden project, Landhyrock, Heligan and Fowe

Pros: The property is based on a farm very close to Bodmin. It offers peace and quiet and a real taste of Cornish countryside. We enjoyed watching the small herd of yearling cattle and the guinea fowl. A lovely walk through the field and through a woodland to a private lake was an added bonus. The lodge has excellent facilities and was clean and in excellent condition. There is a wooden terrace with patio furniture attached to catch the afternoon and evening sun.

Cons: The lodge is not insulated and so can be a little chilly in the mornings and late evenings.
