Clean, well equipped, lovely cottage, with great communication from the host.

Pros: Clean, well equipped, great location for our needs and good, clear instructions in everything

Cons: Nothing, we just wished the weather was a bit better so we could have used the garden

Lovely cottage in the higher part of Boscastle

Pros: The cottage was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was a great size and lovely to have 2 bathrooms too. It's a great base for exploring North Cornwall and all the beautiful beaches nearby. Just a short drive away from Boscastle town and harbour, which is a gorgeous little place.

Cons: We got the 2 cars on, but the drive is very steep!! The cottage is in a small street with a lot of other houses around. (This wasn't a problem, just a little different from how the picture of the outside appeared on the advert.)

Pros: Loved the location, the home was comfy, was very relaxed staying here.

Cons: It would have been nice if there was more storage for clothes.

Pros: Spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The upside down layout was different, but enjoyable.

Cons: Parking a little awkward on a slope, but good for one car.

Lovely location near Boscastle and Tintagel, nice cottage, great holiday

Pros: Amber our host, made us feel very welcome, and was kind enough to leave for us the makings of a lovely Cornish cream tea on arrival. The kitchen diner is a very good size, with a big fridge freezer, and we enjoyed sitting around the large dining table for meals and boardgames. The lounge has a good size TV and 2 comfortable sofas. All communication with our host was good and Amber was flexible to our needs. We enjoyed sitting in the garden at night watching the stars, as it is a low light area. The cottage is in an ideal location with easy parking for 2 cars. The cottage was nice and warm, with plenty of standard amenities. The free WiFi was good, (even with 4 of us using it), and the TV had streaming channels. When we did have problems, Amber and her family did their very best to sort it out promptly.

Cons: There needs to be locks on the bathroom doors, so no one gets walked in on. The loo in the on-suite bathroom did not flush very well. The 2nd bedroom would benefit from not having a bed with square wooden ends, as walking past the end of the bed is quite tight for space and there were banged shins. Some more oven trays would be useful. Despite it being listed, there was no DVD player.

Comfortable cottage in quiet area

Pros: Lovely area. A good base for exploring North Cornwall. Cottage in quiet area of the town and you could see the sunset from the back garden. Comfortable space, & helpful welcome pack with good visitor recommendations, especially the local farm shop which is a great place to eat.

Cons: Tricky parking on the gravelly slope but got used to it in the end.

Would have been absolutely perfect if Parking Surface was solid i.e. a little concrete or tarmac.

Pros: Excellent communication, very clean, very well equipped, very comfortable.

Cons: Parking was available for 2 cars but it wasn't easy to park or walk safely on the loose stone / slate slope.
