Perfect location, beautiful cottage.

Pros: Clean, quaint, everything we could need was there. Plus scones, jam, cream and milk which was a generous touch.

Cons: I had an allergic reaction to the washing powder on the towels and bedding. Covered in a rash. The medicine cabinet in bathroom prevents you from getting to the sink without banging your head when brushing your teeth and can’t necessary.

Great location if you don't mind a steep walk into town.

Pros: Great location, lovely cottage. Very well laid out given how small it is. We loved the kitchen and the small back yard. I felt that the owners had been very thoughtful. Ideal for two to three people who don't mind a short but steep walk up and down to Boscastle.

Cons: I might not have fully understood at the time of booking - you can technically fit four people in the cottage, but it was a bit of a squeeze and the small bedroom needs its door open to accommodate the pull out bed. I wouldn't book it for four again. You might be booking this cottage for close proximity to the pub opposite, which looks idyllic, but was actually a bit of an awkward experience as 'an outsider' - check reviews. The Cobweb Inn, however, down in the town, is perfect - very welcoming and genuine, with great beer and food.

Short and sweet

Pros: The location was perfect for us being directly opposite the Napolean inn - Property had everything we needed and the welcome Cream Scones were fabulous - we didn't like the property - we LOVED it!!

Cons: Nothing!

Lovely cottage in the upper part of Boscastle mere steps from the local pub! Great for the dog

Pros: Lovely cottage, beautifully presented and well equipped too. Scones, jam and cream left for me was an unexpected surprise. Logs and starter logs were welcome. The little courtyard was great for the dog (weather was too wet to explore the 'secret garden'). Flagstone & tiled floors are great to keep clean from muddy paws. The pub over the road was welcoming with excellent food, not noisy either. There's a little convenience store just down the road and a doctors surgery too but hopefully that wouldn't be required! There is a steep path to walk down to the harbour. Would definitely stay again

Cons: What I didn't like. The sofa is hard I had to sit on a cushion. Car parking is a bonus in Cornwall but it was a bit muddy due to rain. The bathroom was a bit too cold for me (but I didn't try the fan heater) and I couldn't face the shower with mixer taps and the curtain on a ring but I could have had a bath. I had enough logs for one wet December evening but not two. Banging my head on the beam over the stairs and next to the toilet. Wouldn't recommend this place for tall people (I'm 5ft 4\

Well needed.

Pros: Cosy, clean, comfortable. Loved the location, the pub opposite was really friendly and really good value for money. It was a perfect get away.

Cons: Nothing to dislike it was perfect

What a beautiful, fabulously maintained cottage!

Pros: Great information, a loively surpise on check-in! So clean, well maintained and decorated. Loved the retro vinyl player!

Cons: The pub across the road had a great live band but would have preferred going to bed a little earlier :) Had a useful photo of the parking spot and directions - a little map would have been even better.

Pros: Every little detail had been thought about to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The children loved arriving to some delicious scones, cream and jam! The cottage is beautiful, the location is stunning and we had a lovely couple of days. We were sad to leave!

Cons: Just a personal preference, a curtain would be nice at the front door as the pub opposite gets quite busy. But apart from that everything else was perfect.

Really lovely, thank you.

Pros: The cottage is quaint and charming, clean, comfortable and has all the facilities. We had a very relaxing stay. The scones on arrival was a real treat and we enjoyed the secret garden as the weather was great.

Cons: This isn’t really a dislike but we didn’t use the shower due to the flow of the shower and opted for baths. This wasn’t a problem at all for us - our very tall son would have been too tall for the shower anyway. The water was hot and bearing in mind the very reasonable price of the cottage, it wasn’t a problem for us at all.,
