Hidden Cornish gem

Pros: We cannot praise this place enough...from the location, the design and all the amenities everything is just perfect. We had such an amazing stay!

Fantastic setting, tranquil and close to town with some lovely places to eat and drink. Very dog friendly.

Pros: Beautiful property in a very convenient location. Near to town and beaches. Garden area for the dog. Fantastic setting. Quiet even though it was close to the pub. Had a lovely stay here. Would have liked to stay longer.

Cons: Would have been nice to have a dedicated seating area/bbq outside like the other cottages. We were sat in the way of other cars parking. Need a fan as it was very hot in the evening upstairs with no air flow even though we had the windows open. No lock on downstairs toilet.

Beautiful cottage, facilities could be improved

Pros: Beautiful cottage, lovely decor. Perfect location, parking is great! Great kitchen facilities and bed was super comfy.

Cons: No proper storage for clothes, just a small rail - as a family there were a few bedside tables but nothing significant to put clothes away in which was difficult. Property was advertised as having a baby gate and high chair, neither were there, despite booking with an infant on the booking. Ask about them and was told to knock on the cottage next door or have the gate delivered the day before we left (3 days after arriving). Washing machine there but no washing tabs - for short term lets there should be one or two there.

Pros: Excellent property, top of the range, very comfortable, everything you need, highly recommended. Parking absolutely needed and appreciated, spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Cons: The patio for this apartment is a little impersonal, could perhaps alter slightly so you are not in the parking area.

Fabulous stay, in a beautiful modern property in a stunning location.

Pros: Location, parking, layout of property, plantation blinds helped to keep cool in hot sun, lovely decent sized bedroom with walk in wardrobe and spotless modern bathroom. Whole property light, airy, spacious, and all fixtures and fittings are brand new. Dishwasher and washing machine great to have. Bed extremely comfortable, dusk activated nightlight at top of stairs a great idea.

Cons: Outdoor seating was a little uncomfortable even with the cushions on. Supply of a parasol on request was much appreciated as the weather was scorching hot. Only 1 sofa inside, a second sofa or large armchair would have been better than the large footstool. But the sofa was very comfy.

Perfect!

Pros: We loved the location of this cottage, a quiet area but within a few minutes walk of the restaurants, pubs and harbour. The added bonus of parking was great! Starfish cottage itself was immaculate and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We didn’t want to leave and we will definitely return. Thank you to the lovely host Emma who let us enter the cottage early and even provided us with a bottle of fizzy to help me celebrate my birthday.
