Pros: We have just stayed at The Hideaway for 2 nights and we loved it. It was cosy, comfortable and charming. We had chicken on the windowsill in the morning which was super cute. Facilities were great and there was plenty to do in the area.

If you’re looking for relaxation and some time away from the rest of the world, this cottage is it! It’s cosy, stylish a
Pros: The cottage was compact, cosy, tastefully furnished and decorated and had everything that you’d need!
Cons: Only thing I could think of is it gets cold without the heating. But it’s an old, granite cottage so that’s to be expected (and the log burner works a treat)

Cons: Nothing at all. It was fabulous.

Cosy, comfortable cottage for a short break away. Many interesting places to explore.
Pros: The wood burner when lit created a warm relaxing space especially during a wet November visit.
Cons: Kitchen space is tight when preparing food.

Clean, attractive little hideaway.
Pros: Beautiful little hideaway, attractively furnished and decorated, providing a modern standard of comfort in an historic building.
Cons: A little tricky to drive in and out of, although it got easier.

Charming cottage, quite comfortable.
Pros: Small yet comfortable cottage style accommodation near Falmouth, with a very special, friendly, and helpful owner. Charming part of the former manor house, transformed thoughtfully with all limitations a historic building offers: narrow steep stairs, a narrow double-bed (challenging for two adults), cold slate floors, etc. The kitchen area is well equipped, albeit the small cooktop requires some skills. All necessary appliances are available. Ample closet space. Fireplace is a nice feature once you manage to get the fire going. Excellent WIFI.
Cons: Roads leading to the The Hideaway are terribly narrow, with locals driving very fast. We opted not to drive in the dark and stayed at the cottage for dinner. The bathroom remains icy cold in spite of a heated towel rack.

Pros: The location, the grounds, I especially loved the courtyard, a drink in the late afternoon sunshine there was magical.
Cons: Perhaps a tad more rustic than I expected, but it's still a wonderful venue.

Wonderful stay
Pros: Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The information booklet was helpful. The bedroom was bigger than expected, with plenty of storage. The chickens that would occasionally hop up by the kitchen window were a treat, although I suspect my dogs didn't share this opinion!
Cons: The only slight things, and purely personal preference rather than a fault, would be that the frying pan was quite large and difficult to use on the 2 ring induction hub if also needing a saucepan at the same time. A few more teaspoons would be helpful. I found the pillow a little flat, but I tend to be fussy and rarely find pillows comfortable. After a wet and muddy walk, we brought the dogs to the wet room style shower to rinse off. The shower head was fixed so it involved filling a jug. A moveable shower head would have been helpful, but we managed so again, a bit nitpicky.
