Claire’s place

Very nice stay, with everything provided and easy communication.

Pros: Easy to find , check in and everything we needed was there including dvds and games

Cons: Was very cold to start with but then we turned the heat up too high. It took us until day 4 to figure out how to heat without too much heat

Pros: Great for our short stay, everything on hand and full kitchen facilities. Easy walk into Hayle and beaches. Our host Claire is so informative and responds so quickly.

Cons: We were not aware bathroom is downstairs. Normally not a problem but one of the guests is awaiting a knee replacement.

We had a wonderful few days away

Pros: Well positioned house in a holiday park. Comfortable and clean. Games and DVD’s for kids and adults. Fully equipped kitchen. Ample parking even if some of the car parks were a little small , we parked away from the house in the main carpark as it was more spacious.

Cons: The accommodation was great but Booking.com stated there was a private pool. The owner did get in touch to say it was not private but belonged to the holiday park. (Thank you) It cost £18 for the days we were there. We managed to get a slot in the pool everyday. Only 25 swimmers at a time could book online for a 45 minute swim each hour. Lots of people booked but then didnt show up so it is worth popping down to pool and asking if you could swim. This was a little annoying but not sure how else the park could control the numbers.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable, well looked after, and loved holiday home.

Cons: Nothing we enjoyed our stay.

Perfectly located for travelling around Cornwall

Pros: Claire’s house is located in Tolroy Manor holiday park. It makes for a perfect location to access so many parts of Cornwall if you are driving. The on site shop, play area for kids and launderette were a big win for us. The launderette especially useful after days at the beach. The house was lovely and perfectly sized for our family of 2 adults , 2 kids. Claire was great at communicating and sharing recommendations for in and around Cornwall. I will definitely be booking again for my next trip to Cornwall. There has been a lot of thought into making sure a family is well looked after including a cot, bed guard rails, a toilet seat with built in child seat (if needed). All the small touches that made us feel very comfortable and at home. Whilst we stayed here we visited Hayle Beach (amazing beach for the kids), Porthmeor beach for the sunsets, St Ives, Minack Theatre, Lands End and St Michael’s Mount and all very easy to get to from this place.

Cons: The front door need a fix but this didn’t detract from the holiday as it still locked and worked.

Would recommend,

Pros: Very comfortable, warm and inviting house. Close to town via car, if older person could be too far to walk to town. Very clean and everything needed was avalible.

Cons: WiFi was very slow and seemed to get a weak signal, so it was difficult to look up days out and attractions easily.. Did not use the onsite facilities as this would be an extra cost.

Perfect for our short family break. Great location for visiting St Ives, Marazion, Porthleven and more.

Pros: Clean and well maintained. Well equipped. A nice selection of toys for our 3yr old. Very good communication with provider who also shared comprehensive recommendations for our stay

Pros: All the facilities were great, the apartment was clean, comfortable and super accessible. The recommended restaurants were excellent. I would definitely come back!!😊

Just what we needed.

Pros: Place was very comfortable and with everything you need. We spent the majority of the time out and about therefore we didn’t use the complex for drinks or food. However members of the family enjoyed the use of the pool and the shops. It was very close to the places we wanted to visit. The host was very good with her communication and suggestions.

Cons: All good.
