Pros: Very well equipped chalet and plenty of room for a large family. It was clean and comfortable. Close proximity to St Erth’s park and ride train station where you can catch a 10 min train journey to St Ives. Also short distance drive to the beautiful Hayle beaches, Carbis Bay or St Michael’s Mount. Staff were very friendly too and provide all the information we needed. I’d highly recommend it.

Cons: Overall it was an excellent stay. However, if I have to be picky, the house had a strong ‘stale’ smell when we first got in. This was expected this time of the year and low in season. We opened all windows and doors and 30 mins after the smell was gone. I’d expected there would be no smell during the summer months when the accommodation would be used and aired more frequently. Some cupboards had the same smell so I’d suggest opening and airing them too when you first get in. In addition we never worked out how to use the shower upstairs. It kept flipping from being boiling hot to freezing. The shower downstairs is better but has low pressure. Lastly the kitchen has only a small fridge with no freezer compartment. It was ok for us as we were only staying for 3 nights, but if you are staying longer and planning on ordering a food shopping to be delivered there, please keep this in mind. Don’t let any of this put you off. It’s only minor things and it’s still recommend the place.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay

Pros: A comfortable clean cottage nice finishing touches , everything you need , utensils etc would definitely recommend to others . Host very good communicating 😀

Pros: Very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of heaters for winter visits.

Cons: Nothing not to like. Not that it affected us being October but the only thing to comment on would be that the outside balcony needed a bit of TLC and patio furniture needs maintenance/replacing.

Perfect!! Such a perfect little house x

Pros: Absolutely beautiful little house!! Could not have asked for a more cosy, family and dog friendly place. Had everything essential and more, family games and books, DVDs, pens for the kids, beautiful bedrooms with plenty of space and comfortable beds. Will definitely be booking to come back again!

Cons: We liked everything about this property! If i had to be picky there was a bit of a strong smell from the under the stairs cupboard but thats it! (I do have an extremely sensitive smell) but keep the door closed and its the perfect place to stay!

An amazing place to stay in St Ives

Pros: This’s probably the best holiday home that we’ve ever stayed at. The 3 beds Victorian style house is incredible, very clean, spacious, smells great and the location is absolutely perfect to travel anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour drive.

Cons: Although the tv remote control is not working and the wifi is a bit slow, but everything else is perfect.

Comfortable stay in clean fresh property well that was equipped

Pros: Great base to explore Cornwall. Easy access to arterial routes and many places to explore

Pros: Absolutely loved it very spacious every thing we thought to bring from home we didn’t need as they had planned for everything. Site staff were friendly shops bars laundrettes entertainment & bingo every night just fab. Main bedroom has a balcony perfect for lovely mornings and warm nights.
