Will definitely go back. It was so much bigger than we expected plenty of room for a family.

Pros: Fantastic location and had everything that we needed and more. It was clean, and had a beautifully homely feel. Very comfy bed.

Cozy base in Helston

Pros: Very cozy compact base which suited us very well. Comfy bed and parking right outside was handy. Freeview on the TV was appreciated on cold evenings. Very quiet location only a few minutes walk to a grocery store at the bottom of Helston for supplies. Boating lake and playground is next to the store, leading to wonderful woodland walks to National trust and on to the coast at Porthleven if you're feeling ambitious. The owner provided helpful info on the property. Notes regarding the direction of approach in particular were spot on (don't let satnav or travel apps tell you otherwise). We slept in the downstairs bedroom so didn't use the mezzanine bedroom but if you're planning to, do take note of the owners very sensible note regarding restrictive head height upstairs.

Cons: The property suited our needs well and was kept warm and cozy for a winter stay. The bathroom is quite narrow so may be tricky for those with accessibility needs, but this wasn't an issue for us, and my hubby appreciated everything being handy for us on a single level.

Lovely cornish cottage.

Pros: The cottage was very clean and cosy. Chris sent a very detailed message about the cottage and the area for our information, this is a very helpful touch. Good location for shops and beaches.

Cons: Found we couldn't get to grips with the heating which was disappointing because we were rather chilly, but other than that no complaints.

Perfect romantic two night stay tucked away near Helston centre and walking round Lizard coast each day.

Pros: Very spacious, own off road parking by front door, only a ten minute walk to town centre and bus stop for all bus routes through Helston, so handy for connections when walking the SW coast path around the Lizard.

Cons: No dislikes.

Lovely little place, I would stay again

Pros: Lovely little find not far from where I needed to be for work, but very remote & tucked away. Chris the hosts Father was very helpful & informative

Cons: The cleanliness wasn’t the best, quite dusty & food scraps left on worktop & cooker. Not dirty by any means, but needs attention. The outdoor courtyard needs a tidy up. Oh, I couldn’t find a dish cloth or scourer sponge anywhere to wash up with, but then again - I did a ‘man look’ 🤣

Superb family time that felt like being home.

Pros: Lovely, clean and stylish cottage with a walled garden. We immediately felt at home and our kids loved their quirky bedroom. The cottage was equipped in everything we needed. Located beautifully in a very friendly and quiet neighbourhood, a few minutes walking distance from town centre. A few minutes drive away to stunning Porthleven, close to St Ives, Lizard Point and Kynance Cove, amongst many more amazing places.

Cons: We liked everything

Pretty cottage in a lovely area, would like to stay again!

Pros: The cottage was very sweet, and I loved the little walled garden and chimney! My son loved the mezzanine bedroom. The area is superb, amazing walks in the country, but conveniently close to town. Helston was much nicer than I was expecting.

Cons: There were several little things e.g. bathroom basin tap not working, hot tap in kitchen was just a trickle, no bedside lamps or tables, more large towels would have been nice. Kitchen equipment was fairly basic, but adequate. Bed was too soft, but that is very subjective! Overall, nothing important!

Pros: The cottage was ideal for our overnight stay prior to starting a walk on the coast path. Excellent communication with Chris about check in and parking.
