Sand Dune

Good New Year trip to Looe

Pros: The location was great close to all amenities and the beach. The property was very clean and tidy and had all the facilities one would want to self-cater. A good heating system for the winter.

Cons: The room was a little dark but only to be expected from a period property. The top step could annoy some people like us older types!

Pros: Great location, compact but enough room for two. Had everything we needed for a long weekend.

Perfect base.

Pros: Sand dune was perfect for the Looe Weekender. Comfortable and warm.

Very enjoyable with everything that I needed to hand….

Pros: The location was so close to the beach and it was easy to walk to the shops….

Lovely short break in a fantastic location.

Pros: Really lovely holiday apartment in a fantastic location - everything is on your doorstep - the beach, harbour and all the shops, bars, restaurants etc. The apartment had everything you need and was very cosy. The bed was super comfortable with lovely bedding. Easy parking at Millpool and the walk to the apartment easy enough if you don't pack too much! We only stayed 3 days but paid for parking for the week which was still good value.

Cons: This is more for information and not a criticism of Sand Dune. When we arrived at 4 pm, we were originally going to drive up to the apartment to unload but the road signage looked like there was no access and the streets were heaving with holiday makers so we parked up and carried our luggage. It turned out I didn't read the signs properly and there was access (which our instructions did advise but I panicked). However, I would not have dared drive through the crowds!! When we left I picked the car up and drove to the apartment and back out again easily at 8 am.

Pros: Perfect in every way, so clean, well equipped, cosy, Perfect location, right in the heart of looe, that good we will return

Comfortable and relaxing.

Pros: This property was clean and comfortable. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Lovely place to stay.

Pros: The location was very good, close to the beach, within working distance of shops and public houses.

Pros: Comfy little flat very close to Looe beach. Separate living room and bedroom, TV, bath, shower and kitchenette gave us all the comforts of home. Host left us a bottle of wine to help us enjoy our stay. Harbour and beach just a few yards from apartment.

Cons: Looe not great for parking.
