Finest Retreats - Old Harbour Cottage

Pros: The location was excellent and the property was lovely - warm and cosy and well maintained.

Cons: No real criticism, the fire in the lounge didn't light up but still provided heat, also the passage way that you accessed through front door was quite dirty. Also advised it was rubbish collection day on Mondays and a plastic collection bag would be provided (saw this at other properties) however none evident for us to use.

A great little cottage for a weekend in a beautiful part of Cornwall

Pros: Great location in the village, short walk to the shops and cafes and the harbour.

Cosy cottage in great location

Pros: Fabulous location, could not get closer to shops and restaurants while not being near noise or traffic. Kitchen being separate to living space was great for keeping soggy dogs away from furnishings. Comfortable living room and beds. Car park directly opposite was very handy and could pay for our whole stay on day one so didn’t have to worry about topping up.

Cons: If you have mobility issues, being across 3 floors could get difficult but it was fine for us.

Great place to stay as a base for travelling around the local areas. Harbour area is lovely with a good amount of indepe

Pros: Location. Tidy cottage with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean, modern and spacious, complete with lots of towels.

Cons: Some equipment in the kitchen could do with an update. A full set of saucepans of different sizes. A larger bin, too small for 4 adults catering in the cottage for a week. More than one tea towel needed for a week. Washing machine was broken.

Pros: We loved the cottage it had everything we will definitely be booking again

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about the cottage

Pros: Quite a narrow building but over 3 floors meant plenty of space

Cons: Would have benefited from maybe a small courtyard garden but space in the town is difficult

Pros: The location was perfect, and parking right opposite really handy The bedrooms were great and super comfy and there is everything in the kitchen you would need

Cons: Only being left 1 bin bag and 1 roll of toilet roll in each bathroom a little tight, there could have been more left in the cupboard. We found the sofa uncomfortable, and the streaming on the telly did not work for a couple of days, saying to may users?
