Trewethen Cottage Barn 2 near Port Isaac

A compact property ideal for a short stay, in easy reach of Tintagel, Port Issac, and Padstow.

Pros: Good location, friendly owners, cream tea on arrival, dog treats. A compact property with good size balcony overlooking woodland. Good shower and decent sized bathroom.

Cons: This is a compact property. Whilst there was tea and toast making facilities it was all a little too tight for us, juggling where to put plates and cups. Also two big chairs, whilst nice, sacrificed a lot of room that could have been better used for a decent dresser for clothes. We were also a little put off by the commercial recovery company down the lane, which was very noisy on the first day. Lastly, we felt £45 for our dog for the three days was too much. If we’d known before booking we wouldn’t have booked here. Other properties charge just £15 per stay, not per day.

Pros: Beautiful barn, ideal for a couple. Glorious patio area to sit out on. Fabulous hosts and a cream tea to welcome us.

Amazing Stay

Pros: The accommodation was amazing and so peaceful very clean, Tracey & Andy the owners were amazing nothing was to much trouble. Tracey made us a lovely cream tea and brought it over which was delishous and Fabulous stay will be recommending to all family and friends thank you both so much x

Tranquil, relaxing just what we needed

Pros: Beautiful Barn and the outlook was peaceful and stunning surroundings. Woken up to the song of birds which was delightful. Tracy and Andy were friendly and nothing was too much trouble amazing hosts. Thankyou for a lovely couple of days

Comfortable accommodation in a great location for a long weekend exploring the area round Port Isaac.

Pros: Great location and comfortable room. Really helpful to have a kettle, toaster and small fridge to make our own breakfast. WiFi was very good. Welcome cream tea was delicious and much appreciated!

Pros: The property was lovely. An old dairy barn converted to 2 apartments. Very well decorated. Room was spacious with a lovely balcony and good size bathroom.

Cons: There was nothing not to like.

Pros: Quite location close to Port Isaac and St Teath . Great comfortable bed kettle toaster basic utensils and a small refrigerator about 20 litres capacity. Very well priced for the area
