Great family lodge

Pros: Lodge was lovely and comfortable all the amenities you need , great base for visiting the area .

Absolutely perfect!

Pros: We had a lovely family holiday at the skylark, we absolutely could not fault it! Everything was perfect, the house was spotless, it had everything you needed, the resort was lovely! Communication was fantastic too.

Amazing property - absolutely perfect

Pros: This property is amazing. So much space and excellent facilities and views...the upstairs lounge area is an absolute dream and the hot tub and decking area beautiful and private. There's a small gate to the side of the decking area leading out onto a grassy area in front of the pond so dogs can pop out for a wee, and the whole place is faultless. We stayed an extra night and would have loved to have stayed longer if circumstances had allowed. Massive thumbs up from us (3 adults, 1 toddler, 1 dog!)

Cons: Absolutely nothing apart from the long journey to get there from Suffolk!

Pros: The size and layout of the house was lovely. Comfy beds and very clean and luxurious linen etc. the campsite was lovely too.

Cons: Nothing really.

Beautiful house and location.

Pros: Location of the house on site is perfect with a view over the pond and not overlooked at all. Retallack is in a great location too with loads of lovely towns and beaches within 30mins drive. Property is spacious inside and out. Well equipped and perfect set up for two families with rooms and a bathroom on both floors. Kids love the pool table.

Cons: Poor communication and misunderstanding with the host over cost caused some unnecessary stress but was resolved.

Ideal get together spot for families to meet up

Pros: The actual lodge was superb the enclosed terraces were good for both grand children and the dog

Cons: Never really bonded with the oven!

Lovely relaxing week in this lodge

Pros: We liked this lodge a lot as it easily suited two families having a holiday together with double and twin room upstairs with a shower room then a double and twin downstairs with a bathroom. Both floors had a lounge each which allowed adults and kids to have seperate spaces from each other. The pool table was a nice touch and gave both kids and adults entertainment. Outside space was really nice offering a hot tub, egg chair and an outside dining table with lots of space.

Cons: There isn’t a lot to dislike about the place. The only real negative is the cleanliness could be better with some cutlery and plates being dirty along with some dirt around the place. Some wonky sockets by the gas hob. The odd drain smell from the site where we were. But that’s the only negatives we had and didn’t really distract from the lovely stay we had.

Super Easter break

Pros: Lodge was amazing and super clean. Great communication from host. Loved the pool table and open plan areas.

Pros: Very comfortable beds/linen. Very well equipped with everything you need for 8 people. So spacious and quality furniture.

Cons: Nothing.
