A charming, well-equipped and conveniently located property with a thoughtful, unobtrusive host—I’d happily book again

Pros: The property was very cute, extremely comfortable, cosy, and contained everything we could need, plus more. It was within walking distance of the town and other amenities, and there was public transport nearby for getting to the beach etc. I did not meet the host in person because she left us in peace and didn’t interrupt our stay, but I knew she was attentive and I could call on her for anything I might have needed, and that was lovely and reassuring. I will book again if I’m in the area.

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like about this property, or the host.

A lovely, quirky treat!

Pros: Very quirky! Lovely little touches added ( milk, bread, custard tarts plus usual tea etc ) which meant we didn’t have to dash to nearest supermarket . No tv, which was wonderful; we read , talked & chilled.

Cons: The pillows… but I am fussy.

Beautiful comfy stay

Pros: Beautiful decor, comfy bed, everything we could want. Friendly owner who was happy to go out of her way to help. Great facilities, ideal location for us, basics like bread, milk, tea and coffee provided plus an extra treat. Spotlessly clean and tidy, definitely be returning.

Cons: Could be difficult getting in and out of parking space at busy times of the day.

Love the Shabby Shack

Pros: It was clean, well equipped and very homely. Gina had supplied drinks and food for breakfasts. She had a notebook with information about the Shabby Shack and the local area.
