I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. 👏

Pros: Excellent location for me. A nostalgic visit to the village my mother lived in as a small child.

Comfortable stay next to coast path.

Pros: Location uphill Polruan, vitually on the coast path. Spacious comfortable room. We felt very wellcomed. Parking in the backstreet.

Cons: Comfortable bathroom but not ensuite next to the cat litter box. Simple breakfast (only cereals). If not in your nature to ask for more, other options hesitantly suggested.

Pros: Alison was very welcoming and her place is in the perfect location.

An excellent stay with a very welcoming host.

Pros: It was light & spacious. The view from the property looking over to Fowey was wonderful. The garden was beautifully maintained & had different areas to sit in. We’ll definitely be staying at West Winds again when going back to Polruan. The owner was very welcoming, offering very useful information for our stay. We were told to make ourselves at home.

Cons: Nothing. The only thing we’d say is that due to it’s location on a steep hill going down into the harbour it wouldn’t be ideal for people with mobility issues

Amazing stay

Pros: Alison/the house/ the location and her cats were amazing. 😍 a great spacious room and a very comfortable bed. Great selection of breakfast options. Alison is also a knowledgeable guide of the best spots. Definitely looking forward to to go back.

Home feeling

Pros: Allison’s place is nice, comfortable and clean. And she is a very friendly and attentive host. We felt at home.

Alison was a lovely host, who had great knowledge of the area and would do anything to help.

Pros: Very comfortable and cozy. Felt like home. Alison was a lovely host, who would go out of her way to help.

Pros: The house and the garden is pretty, it’s clean and tidy, the location is good. Alison is very nice and friendly.

Cons: Can only have the seaview in kitchen and we cannot go out to see as it is the balcony next door. The bathroom isn’t en suite so we need to leave our room for bathing.

Restful and pleasant

Pros: The host was very welcoming and accomodating to our needs. Friendly and knowledgeable. We had freedom of use of a lot of things in the accommodation.

Cons: I wouldn't say didn't like but it would have been nice if the bathroom had locks. Even though it was private use it felt a bit uncomfortable.

Great stay

Pros: Extremely comfortable. Lovely host. Most enjoyable stay.. Highly recommended.
