Pros: Roodney is so nice the hotel is amazing really comfortable and relaxing

Cons: Everything was perfect

We were a family of 7 with a dog and the facilities adequately fulfilled all our needs. Thank you.

Pros: The building was characteristically very old. The facilities were very clean and comfortable. The landlord was most accommodating and helpful.

Cons: The entrance and first appearance was untidy and 'under renovation.. This could be improved by removing, some disused and unnecessary items like old picnic benches and junk from the front of the building.

Darlington hotel!

Pros: When we entered our room, it didn't disappoint! Beamed ceiling, sloping floor, a real taste of history! Enjoyed the fact we could have breakfast in our room and didn't have to leave the room early! Great hosts and although we never met them in person, they were easily contactable! Thank you, Carol and Rodney. It's a great location for exploring Cornwall!

Good value and comfortable base for exploring north Cornwall

Pros: Very comfortable hotel, parking nearby (if the immediate car park is full you can park in the car park about a 5 minute walk away), on the high street near a Spar and Co-op. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Our room didn’t have a shower which we were surprised by but had a bath. Quaint building with original features and quite cosy, met expectations for the process.

Amazing property

Pros: I couldn't believe the building is 800 years old. So lucky to be able to stay in such property as really well maintained, very clean and easy access. I didn't meet the hosts but clear directions were provided, along with propt to be in touch if I needed any help. Breakfast included in the price.

Cons: The room was rather small for 3 people, yet this was part of the charm. No breakfast area.

Pros: Availability at short notice. Good value, no frills, but all I needed. Interesting building. Would like to know a bit of its history. Self check in was easy.

Pros: The owners were very helpful and kind and honest. The room was so cute and very clean and comfortable.

Cons: Hot water could have been hotter however the owners did state the place is being renovated
