A cosy gem with very kind staff.

Pros: This is a beautiful inn with great food and attentive staff. When I unexpectedly needed something essential and nowhere nearby was open, one of the workers personally arranged help with one of the locals. So thoughtful, discreet and kind. The inn was in a brilliant location, and the food was exceptional too.

Pros: The waterfront position is stunning. The rooms couldn’t be closer to the harbour

Cons: It is quite a long walk from the pub to the bedrooms - which might be a challenge to the elderly or infirm.

Charming old pub, lovely character, friendly service. Note that rooms are a steep walk up the hill.

Pros: Superb location, right by the water in the centre of this very characterful village. The fish and chips was really good, but make sure to book a table as the seating is very limited.

Cons: Breakfast didn't start until 9, and was not included. As we needed to make an early start, this was not really a problem as there's a lovely independent cafe very close by.
