Pros: The staff were all excellent especially Alfie who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Lovely, relaxing and comfortable.

Pros: All the staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly. The room was large, comfortable and well equipped, and we were lucky that the sun came out so we could sit on the balcony. The swimming pool, steam room etc were very pleasant. The bar was cosy and we enjoyed our meal there. We had no problem arranging a late check-out. The general ambience of the hotel was relaxing. Location was great for us - not far out of St Austell, and a short drive to the new parkrun at the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Cons: The pool lockers were a bit of a faff- you're supposed to use your room key to lock them, but then have nowhere to put the key.

Pros: Staff were friendly. Room was great with balcony. Swimming pool , sauna, steam room was great .

Cons: Breakfast was lukewarm . Need better system to keep it hot . Bed was too soft for me . One our last night there was some party going on over in the main building . The noise kept us awake

Really good - few improvements could be made.

Pros: I liked the spa and access to all the facilities. We also enjoyed the size of the room and bathroom. The breakfast was good.

Cons: The dinner was not really worth the value for money - I ordered the steak medium rare, but it came more like medium and was quite chewy. Was expecting it to be nicer considering it was £38. The breakfast was overpriced I thought.

Very good stay apart from the issues I have raised and excellent food ! Please sort that parking out !

Pros: Nice location good site well lit at night and good staff

Cons: Very few disabled parking places and a skip was placed in one of those and visitors parked at front of hotel instead of the car park which made getting out of the disabled bay quite hard ! Signs of no parking would sort this except to the disabled ! Restaurant no ambiance tables near doors and too close together !

Cons: This dies not reflect on the i rr all stay. But the walk from the car park in the dark is not well lit.

Cons: Disappointed our deal didn’t have breakfast as last year it was cheaper and included breakfast so not such good value. Pool was definitely colder than last year too

A wonderful place for a relaxing break!

Pros: The hotel and our room were really lovely. The spa treatments we had were amazing. Also enjoyed the pool and the aromatherapy room. A lovely place to relax. Would definitely recommend a stay and a visit to The Lost Gardens of Heligan which we also really enjoyed.
