Foxglove Field Glamping

Pros: Great mix between comfort and nature. You're very much in the countryside (along with a few bugs), which means you get to cook and eat in greenery and beautiful flowers. The facilities have everything you'll need from a very unique shower to a great kitchen. It has an electric hob, toaster, fridge, cooking knives, wine and pint glasses, etc.. At night, the sky is very dark, meaning you can stargaze around the firepit in the grass with a very thoughtfully provided picnic blanket. There are also some hot water bottles that you can use to warm yourself at night. The hostess is very kind and provided us with local milk and eggs as well as recommendations from the local area. Finally, there are some really cute animals walking around from time to time (a cat and some guinea fowls), adding to the outdoor experience.

Cons: The site is somewhat far from local supermarkets if you don't have a car. However, there is a bus stop around 15 minutes away which can take you there - just be mindful that they come every hour or two and can be late. You can check the Cornwall Buses website to see the live times.

Wonderful back to nature stay in a unique place.

Pros: It was a wonderful experience- lovely, quiet and beautifully embedded in the nature place created to truly allow rest and relaxation. Thoughtful design and distance between to allow the privacy to each tent. Everything was thought through and eco conscious too: natural materials, creative recycling, handmade cosmetics. The owner provided a lot of kind touches like fully stocked kitchen with organic tea and coffee options, daily fresh local milk and eggs provided in the fridge, firewood to enjoy the evening with an open fire pit. Truly unique place!

Cons: Everything was great.

Felt Like We Found a Secret Spot in Cornwall

Pros: We had the most wonderful stay at Foxglove Field Camping – it truly exceeded all expectations. Nestled in the heart of the Cornish countryside, the site is a peaceful haven, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The field itself is beautifully kept. They give you plenty of privacy and stunning views of the surrounding meadows. Waking up to birdsong and going to sleep under a sky full of stars felt like such a luxury. It’s quiet, calm, and incredibly relaxing everything you’d want from a countryside escape. Facilities are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The eco-friendly touches really add to the charm. A big thank you to Carrie for making our stay easy and smooth. She's a very lovely and kind person ❤️ What an amazing experience! We would definitely comeback again

An Amazing Eco-Friendly Glamping Experience!

Pros: We had the most amazing stay in Foxglove – a peaceful and eco-friendly glamping experience we won’t forget. The tipi was lovely & clean and set in a lovely, private spot. With only three tipis on site, it felt very exclusive and tranquil — perfect for unwinding. We especially loved the fire pit, which made for a cozy evening under the stars. Everything was thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind, which we really appreciated. Cary the host was absolutely wonderful – so warm, friendly, and welcoming. She genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. You can tell she genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable and at home. We highly recommend this special place — we’ll definitely be back!

An amazing experience and inspired

Pros: The property and the owner both were amazing, i took this trip with my partner to detox and have mental clarity. The property has a whole vibe of comfy and cozy. Carrie showed us the whole property and recommended us the best near by local restaurants and hidden gems. Great hospitality, toilets/showers were cleaned and great condition, tents were spacious clean and have a private space between all other tents. Definitely recommend it to my friends and would love to visit again. Thank you carrie.

Cons: If anyone who is afraid of bugs will have little difficulty, however the tents were clean and have insect screen as well.

Pros: The quiet nature, unpolluted sky. The care the host provided. Everything was nice and cosy. The host went above and beyond thinking about little things like picnic blankets and small bars of soap. We got provided with fresh eggs and milk. I have not seen a better service anywhere else.

Cons: The only thing I would like to add/change would be the cabinet doors. To keep plates, pots and glasses closed off from the rain and dust it seems to collect daily.

Relaxing in a very quiet spot , within easy access to local amenities

Pros: Lovely relaxing atmosphere. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make it a lovely quiet relaxing place. Eco friendly and use of natural products including bedding and beauty products added to the experience.

Cons: Nothing. It was better than we could have imagined.

A wonderful reset from the corporate world ❤️

Pros: The relaxing atmosphere. Sound of the birds twittering away. The amazing kitten set up, and what a fantastic shower! Brilliant pressure plus it’s lovely and hot 😊 it’s like a sweet home away from home. Carrie has put a lot of work and care into her beautiful glamp site and it really shows ❤️ highly recommended

Super comfortable stay in a gorgeous place

Pros: We loved staying at foxglove field. Carrie gave us such a warm welcome and lots of recommendations. The outdoor kitchen was perfectly equipped and we loved the quirky shower too! It was a lovely slice of wilderness, perfect for people who want to stay in the middle of nature.

Pros: The location is very peaceful and sheltered, perfect for star gazing, with excellent facilities. Carrie, our host, was welcoming and kind. Everything you need for a comfortable and restful stay.
