The Old Post Office

Lovely and pleasant stay. Would have been fantastic if we were told WiFi / TV not working at first.

Pros: The property was fantastic in a really convenient location and everything we expected it to be.

Cons: The Wi-Fi was not working - we couldn't even find the hub that was meant to be. On contacting the property letting agent we were told the Hub was in the upstairs apartment which wasn't ideal. The agent then called back to say they are unable to contact the people upstairs and for us to contact them which we did. The people upstairs too had complained that they had tried everything and the wifi was not working and it seems the problem has been going on for a while. I would rather have been told there was no WiFi / TV and the truth rather than been lied to by an agent earning money from this property to do a poor job.

Pros: Very homely, well equipped and great location. Beds super comfy.

Cons: No hand wash provided in bathrooms, toilet seats were loose. TV in back bedroom didn’t work. Great to have laundry detergent provided, would have been good to also have a couple of tablets for the dishwasher.

Pros: Perfect location, lovely and spacious, has everything you need. It can be a bit noisy upstairs but nothing earplugs didn’t solve.

Amazing little place

Pros: Everything was amazing , the only downside was the noisy upstairs neighbours, but that aside it was perfect

Brilliant location and comfortable accommodation. I’d go back!

Pros: Fabulous location, very comfortable beds, clean throughout and well equipped kitchen.

Cons: It doesn’t have parking or an outside space - to be expected with such a prime location. This is made up for by the proximity to the car park (it’s close), and the short walk to the beach.

Lovely, would return again.

Pros: Clean, lovely towels and bedding, excellent location, cosy seating.

Cons: It was a bit cold and we couldn’t turn the heating up. Frying pan needs replacing ( minor issue)

Cons: no parking, so difficult to get luggage to the accommodation.

ideal for exploring South Cornwall

Pros: convenient to visiting other areas close to the harbour close to shops etc

Cons: apart from parking it worked out not to bad could do with a better selection of drinking glasses !!!

Cons: No parking, no outside space. ( neither a possibility with this property - known in advance)

Lovely relaxing break 😊

Pros: The location was brilliant for what we wanted love staying in Porthleven . Restaurants & shops in walking distance .
