Pros: We had a lovely time at Hillside. The apartment was very well presented, spacious and in a lovely location. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed during our stay and provided great suggestions for places to visit (one location being Mevagissey). We will most definitely be back.

Pros: Lovely hosts! Great accommodation and perfectly located for loads of activites (Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Beaches ..).

The perfect getaway, a cosy home away from home!

Pros: The property is very cosy, in great condition and in a great location. It has everything you need and really does feel like a home away from home. We also had breakfast prepared by the hosts which was a great way to start our day. Exceptional hosts, Racquel & Alan really looked after us!

Pros: The accommodation was immaculate and had everything you need for our stay. So many little things had been thought of. Plugs near bed and mirror for example and even flannels and lots of bathroom accessories. It was a home from home to come back to after a day out.

Great location, ideal property, lovely hosts

Pros: St Austell is an ideal location for a stay in Cornwall, with the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Carlyon Bay, Par, Polkerris, Charleston, Mevagissey to name but a few right on the doorstep, with much more just a short drive away such as Padstow, the seven bays, Newquay, Perranporth etc. Hillside is situated on the western fringe of St Austell. A one bedroom annexe, that was ideal for us. It has a well equipped kitchen, a well appointed bathroom and comfortable living space. Probably one of the nicest holiday lets we’ve been in. Well planned out and cared for by its hosts who were very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. There were some really nice unexpected additional touches too. We are regular visitors to Cornwall and will have no hesitation in booking Hillside again.

Pros: Hillside is immaculate and everything was to a high standard. The annexe has everything you need and this has been well thought out. The gift of biscuits and fudge is a nice touch and the host is very thoughtful and helpful.

Absolutely Outstanding

Pros: Wow, what a find, From the moment we arrived, we just knew we had made the right choice. The accommodation was truly outstanding, and we were both made to feel welcome by the superb hosts. Immaculate clean well thought out, we had everything we could possibly want, and the hosts were available and very responsive to any needs, without being in your face, and so nice, cheerful, friendly and helpful too. The accommodation is located on a very well to do cul de sac, so there are no traffic issues, yet it was nice and easy to travel to the town, and its surrounding retail food outlets and supermarkets, all in all the perfect base for touring around Cornwall. This is most certainly the best accommodation we have ever used via Booking.com, and we look forward to our next stay here.
