Lovely room, fantastic breakfast view, great hosts!

Pros: The space was really lovely on the bottom floor of the house with a self-contained bedroom, WC and bathroom. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast on the top floor of the house overlooking the Mevagissey Harbour- gorgeous view. Malcolm and Sue were fantastic hosts and it was lovely to meet a local couple with great advice for places to eat and routes around Cornwall. We would love to stay again!

Spectacular in every sense

Pros: It was lovely accommodation - we had our own private suite and use of the garage for our bikes. The breakfast was great and the view from the top of the house was spectacular! Sue and Malcolm were friendly and gave us some good tips for local sightseeing.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like!

Quality stay with kind and generous hosts in immaculate accommodation.

Pros: Absolutely perfect - self contained suite with lovely hosts in an immaculate home. Sue & Malcolm are warm friendly people who are extremely generous with their facilities and breakfast as well as their local knowledge and kindness. Being British, we weren’t sure how eating breakfast in the host’s own dining area would work out (as you are the only guests when you stay)- but actually we loved it and it was a highlight of our holiday. If you are vegetarian, vegan or coeliac you will also be in safe hands for breakfast if you let the hosts know beforehand. I’m vegetarian, coeliac (so no gluten and have to be very vigilant on cross contamination) and also by pure chance developed a lactose intolerance during the trip - and I’m also quite shy around saying what I can/can’t eat. Nightmare you’d think - but no, I was extremely thoughtfully and carefully catered for (and with the holy grail of choice and quality food, too!).

Cons: We loved everything but please be aware the location is most likely unsuitable if you have accessibility barriers for sloped/steep surfaces.
